The question wasn’t based solely on his play in Week 1. I liked the progression of his play from last year.And, I’d term his play from last year as better than “slightly above average”.
The Bears’ defense is bad. Jaylin Johnson and Tyrique Stevenson got lit up. Small sample size, but Malik Muhammad looked like their best CB. They sure could use the oft injured Kyler Gordon.
They scored 59 snd no catches by Loveland. If the Oline holds up, they should continue to light it...

Watched last year's BR/LA game online. I don't think I can recall a Loyola Oline dominated to the extent they were last year. They simply could not block Rice's Dline. The two best Dlinemen for Rice (McGee and Parks) are back. If LA can figure out a way to at least neutralize the Rice Dline...
Yep. They get the transfers. They don’t get numbers or the same amount of talent as the Blue’s big three in the Freshmen classes. Does that even need to be pointed out?
