Will see how the team looks on Sunday. We shouldn’t probably be losing to Illinois State, but they did make the NIT semis last year and returned the preseason pick for Valley player of the year. CC and staff have a lot of work to do to get basically a whole new roster to gel quickly
Last year was way too frosh heavy. Seemed to be an emphasis on improving 3 pt shooting. Most predictions I see have us in the bottom 3 of the conference
All depends on what we end up with on the roster. If we only shop on the bargin basement aisle then next year is going to be beyond bad They should change the timing on ticket renewals so people can make a better decision based on the roster each year
How can he possibly be a worse shooter from deep than Green? At least KJ showed at the end of last year he is capable of scoring from beyond the arc on a somewhat consistent basis. I’m not saying he should start, but it’s pretty wild that he can’t even get on the floor some nights on a team...
Can anybody explain why KJ basically hasn’t been playing at all and then suddenly when we are down 45 points or so he’s out there? I figured maybe he told CC he was going to transfer and don’t play me, so was shocked when I saw him on the floor. Makes zero sense. Especially on a team that...
Yep. Frosh class looks like it could be a good one, but you aren’t going to win in the Big 10 with freshmen playing lots of minutes. Had hopes for Angelo and KJ to make leaps this year, but KJ is glued to the bench most games.
That would be poor coaching then. He’s obviously a decent 3 pt guy when it’s within the offense and it’s not like we have lots of great outside shooters. Just seems really strange. Like CC is trying to run him off- I can’t imagine any way he doesn’t transfer after the season unless he just...
At least be consistent and call the game the same at both ends of the floor. Tired of watching NM get hacked with no call and then an opposing player get a trip to the line for being breathed on heavily. Was a little surprised CC wasn’t in the ear of the refs more
