OT: Jerry Koosman, Miracle Mets hero, dead at 83

Yep, WWOR was the Mets. As well as WWF wrestling on Saturdays at midnight! One of the few NYC stations our roof-top antenna could barely receive LOL.

OT: Who was the unluckiest athlete in memory?

This reminded me of another female tennis player who was attacked with a knife. Back in 2016 Petra Kvitova was had fingers on her left (playing) hand cut by a man posing as a utility work in her apartment in the Czech Republic. She was able to recover and come back and be pretty competitive on...

Syracuse vs SMU getting exciting. 27 sec left and SU at 3 yd of SMU. Wish we could 6'5" receiver Russell from SU. Edit: Syr up 30-27 on SMU. Dump off pass to TE for TD.

    NC State fires Doeren

Just moved to the Raleigh area so I've been trying to get to know the Wolfpack team. This article below mentions Philip Rivers as a possible replacement though not having coached in college or NFL. That seems like a reach. I don't remember Rivers being in the conversation for the Bills head...

    The conversation needs addressed immediately

Don't think he needs to start but just inserted in the game (early on) for a series or two. Light a fire under Becht's a$$.

Theo Johnson likewise had a TD for the Giants, as well as a tough reception near end of the 4th qtr that led to a TD by Nabers. Abdul Carter had a sack against Washington.
