BB Recruiting 2025 European Forward Denis Badalau commits to Rutgers Basketball

Just going thru the Twitter follows — looks like Miss St / Ohio St / Nebraska showed some degree of interest

    OT: NBA Playoffs

Yeah that and OKC - MEM have been the only bad series. Even BOS - ORL has been surprisingly competitive. Seems like an increased emphasis on letting defense muck the game up — appreciate how the game’s are being reffed so far. Lots of low scoring matchups

BB Recruiting NJIT Transfer G Tariq Francis commits to Rutgers Basketball

I think the issue is more so that the staff hasn’t done much in years past (especially since the dawn of NIL) to prove themselves capable of navigating the portal — of working with a limited budget and maximizing the on-court product. So even removing “insider” takes, this offseason we have Pike...

Somehow rutgersal is more clueless with his basketball takes than football

    Aaron Breitman on Tariq Francis

Everyone else has also budgeted in the pending settlement though. I don’t think the settlement changes a thing with respect to how our staff attacks the portal

    Aaron Breitman on Tariq Francis

I can guarantee Pike and co. have already been operating in the portal under the assumption we have the $3m to spend. The concerning thing is it seemingly hasn’t mattered with respect to the level of talent our staff is capable of reeling in

    Carino Article with Cliff Quotes

He was utilized perfectly at Bama. He’s a rim-protecting, rim-running 5 who shouldn’t touch the ball outside of lobs / putbacks. We allowed him to play outside his strengths — post ups, mid-range jumpers, etc. Bama just had other capable center’s they could rotate him with, that’s why he...

Does anyone even have an educated ball park guess as to how much $$$ Pike has to work with right now???

How do you even begin to breakdown rev share without an AD???

Basketball Rutgers Basketball Big Man Lathan Sommerville Enters Transfer Portal

Doubt it. They’ve got Morez Johnson (Lathan’s HS rival) at the 5 who seems like the future of the position for them. Lathan is not all that dissimilar from Dain Dainja who Underwood ran out of town last season

Want to see it for another year before declaring the Cinderella dead. Taking this year to be an outlier for the time being.
