Can the 2026-2027 team over perform like the 2019-2020 team.

That’s from the mods, sounds legit. Now as to who played / whether we coached to win, who knows

    Two Exhibitions 0-2

    1. Working way back from ankle injury. Likely will have his workload ramped up over the course of Nov. 2. Nice player. Think he’s still finding his role for us offensively, but seems to be a reliable 2/3. Seems solid defensively, was swapping offense / defense with Smith for stretches in OT...

Basketball Rutgers Basketball falls to St. John’s in 4OT exhibition marathon

I’ve never seen it with him. Some people seemed to fall in love off with him off the strength of one or two good half’s last year, but by and large he was a woefully inefficient player who wouldn’t get any minutes as a true frosh on a respectable team. Not to mention he’s a minus athlete who...

Powers cannot wear those shoes and be this bad

Francis iso-ball not the answer to NBA length. But no Lino on the floor makes it tough. Onto the 4th OT (!!)

Francis having trouble with the length they’re throwing at him

Huge shot by Darin. Lino the one man press break the only thing keeping this team alive 2nd half

    J Mike 0pts / 0rbs / 0 asts. Can’t even break a press. Also Powers is just not a Big Ten athlete.

Encouraged as well. Looking like we won’t see too much of the euros this season. Think we just need to figure out the backup 5. Also think Powers may end up odd man out of the rotation…lots of pieces at the 1-3 spot

At the game. Lino is an absolute blur with the ball. Encouraging start. Johnnie’s have NBA size

Basketball Ron & Dylan Harper / Ace Bailey - NBA Thread

Incredible how good of a defender Dylan already is in his rookie year. We knew what the offense looked like, but he’s legit clamping Ant / McDaniels in the possessions he’s matched up with them

    Playing GM

Would be willing to bet Buchanan is already getting >300k. High major starters or high-level role guys go for 500k min

    SGA on Rutgers???

It’s crazy to me that anyone thinks one player would make a non-top 100 team the national champion. Flagg and Knueppel are arguably both top 50 players in the NBA and even they, alongside a handful of other future NBA guys, couldn’t win the title last year. There’s not a single future...

Who would you spend NIL $ on for next year (current roster)

J Mike is a perfectly fine backup point at this level. Knows the system, has grown as a shooter and brings good energy. The issue is we’re playing him close to 30 mins a night, when he should really be in the 8-12 min range for a high-major team On Ogbole, I’m not at all opposed to replacing...

Who would you spend NIL $ on for next year (current roster)

I’d be more than content with a point forward, just think that’s a slightly rarer build at the college level. On Davis, agree it’s tough to recruit over your captain PG, but I think Pike knows it has to be done if he wishes to cool the hot seat. J Mike seems like a team first guy so just have to...
