    It’s very early, based on what I’ve seen so far IU and OSU seem to be clearly at the top. There’s a drop off then I would say USC, PSU, Mich and maybe Iowa. I think Oregon has some real problems on defense despite having NFL players all over the field. Things can change over the next few weeks.

    They weren’t NFL players in 2007. We replaced most of our defense with young players, the offense was good and talented. The defense was young and inexperienced, hence 8-5. I’m not making excuses for GS whose time has run out, I’m trying to explain why the team wasn’t better in 2007.

    They are under contract which I assume has provisions to prevent opting out of games that they are receiving compensation for. If that isn’t the case, then there are some really dumb people involved with this.

    The 2027 class doesn’t matter now. By December there will be a new coaching staff in place and they will look to turnover the roster. Expect 50+ transfers.
