    OT: 2026 Coaching Carousel

Regarding Kelly, it was mentioned on a recent TKR podcast that it is very unlikely he would end up at RU. It actually has more to do with the RU administration not being interested rather than the other way around.

Football Rutgers Football Injury Report: Latest ahead of the Michigan game

It was mentioned by Rick Pizzo on the B1G Network today that according to his sources, Duff is definitely out for the Michigan game.

Football Rutgers Football Injury Report: Latest ahead of the Michigan game

That is certainly possible. He seems like a very competitive guy, we’ll see what happens.

Football Rutgers Football Injury Report: Latest ahead of the Michigan game

Another reason I don’t think Duff will be sitting out future games if he is healthy, I would assume there is some sort of contractual stipulation in his NIL deal that requires him to play in the regular season games to receive the total compensation. I can’t imagine a player getting $2 M in...

Football Rutgers Football Injury Report: Latest ahead of the Michigan game

Duff took some hard hits against NW trying to catch a bunch of poorly thrown passes. I tend to doubt that he is shutting it down for the season.

With more NIL Support, Schiano will fix it

The only thing GS will be fixing next year are things around his RU financed home.

    Dave Doeren's Record vs. Schiano

RU can only hope to have that much success in a 14 year period playing in the B1G. I think if a HC is fortunate enough to be around over 10 years, many people get fatigued. It’s like the old saying about “familiarity breeds contempt”.

Total Defense Ranks in GS 2.0

These are the ranks for total defense nationally for a program that is led by a defensive coach who talks about “toughness” and “violence”. There really is no excuse for the drop off during the last 3 years. It’s not NIL, it’s about lack of development, poor player evaluation, poor coaching...

Things you will see from new head coach that will bring a tear to your eye…..

No more tears please, it’s been enough. How about a nice relaxed smile of satisfaction?

    Schiano Presser Disaster

Credit to Brian Fonseca from NJ.com. Asked some good, tough questions that GS couldn’t answer. You have to love the answer to Fonseca’s question about Surace being in the program for over 3 years and his very apparent lack of development. Fonseca asks “How does that happen”? Schiano’s...

Football GAMEDAY THREAD: Rutgers Football versus Northwestern

It’s absurd that they can’t put a better LB on the field than #41 who is clearly a D2 player. What’s more ridiculous is GS insisting that he has the talent to play at the B1G level to all the RU beat writers.

UPDATED: Interesting SB Nation Article: Locksley the first domino to fall; is anybody next?

Is it necessary to inject race into the discussion? I don’t know who “they” are but clearly he was fired and it seemed like there was broad agreement that it was time to move on.

We get Peacock at home. I’ll watch until it gets ugly. Some other big early games tomorrow that I want to check out.

OT: The truth about Notre Dame and their schedule

How does a 24 team playoff reward failure? The teams have to actually play games on the field. The NC team will have to defeat several of the best teams in the country. This is much more competitive and fair than a bunch of opinion makers deciding who the “best” 2 or 4 teams are to compete for...
