    Alvaro

I think Ben M wanted more consistency from Alvaro … too many times where he would hit for 17 one game … and the next five might be 11, 7, 5, 0, 6 … Probably more of a mutual parting where AF wanted more money and BM expected better / consistent results… Either way … I enjoyed AF and seems like a...

    I think you are correct!

    drunk ISU coach is retiring

Not shocking … ISU hasn’t done much lately - lost 3/4 of its roster including Audi … new AD … yeah - writing on the wall … That program needs a kick start

    Cayden Daughtry

Latest rumblings via On3 is things may be cooling a bit for Iowa … especially with possible remain at home / instate push

Burroughs asked about coaching at Iowa

Wrestling has little parity: a top 5 dominate, unlike football (~12 contenders) or basketball (~20). Iowa is a top-5 program with strong fans and facilities, but it’s not a revenue sport. Heavy private funding of the top two (PSU/OSU) creates a bigger gap—“top 2 and everyone else.” Not every...

    McKeever

2 years … I think we are safe he is not NBA bound … at least not yet … I think he’s in the right spot to get the best coaching

    Cayden Daughtry

Latest has Miami as his leader - followed by Fl State … Iowa now at a 9.9% chance to land him

    Dana Altman

I can’t believe he lasted this long at Oregon … a lot of money pumped into that program and last season they were 12-20 …

5-star PG Cayden Daughtry talks Iowa, overall recruitment:

Yes… alludes to may remain in state … and Iowa lost some momentum. … and could have something to do with his mom wanting him to stay closer to home … per recent forum post from author of article

5-star PG Cayden Daughtry talks Iowa, overall recruitment:

Latest On3 article mentions CD may stay in the state of Florida and that Iowa may have lost momentum … Unfortunate if he doesn’t choose Iowa …

Sound and video boards are awful

Agree 100. The on field interviews are impossible to hear / understand. The video boards just seem dated in today’s world of video screens. Overall - went to opening 2 games and give overall audio a C- or a D+

    Helluva game clones

ISU was disciplined. Good tacklers … Iowa is so so … ISU will go as its QB goes… Either ISU DLine is that good or our line is NOT as good as thought… Play calling was a C+ … with the depth we have at WR and TE … we still really couldn’t anything beyond short passes … Our multiple false...

I think Saturdays stadium announcer vs ISU was different than week 1… he was a little better … but meh …
