    Stanford seems like the kind of school that will be the first to drop football one day. There is no fanbase. Not a state school so very little local interest. Rutgers attendance may stink for UMASS but that Stanford crowd had no more than 10k in the building at its peak and that may be generous.

    you are right here. He improved to a point where he could be a serviceable backup (10-15 minutes) on an average power conference team. He clearly can’t be a starter on any power conference team that has ambitions to be any good, but don’t think anybody has ever said that.
