What's the deal with De La Salle?

Years 1 and 2 at SL were not good. Allowed them to drop classes from 7a to 5/6a. Also, isn't that when the CCL and ESCC combined and made 7 different divisions? SL was put in a lower division and was able to beat up on weaker programs. Any signature wins? 41-37 doesn't exactly cut it at the...

What's the deal with De La Salle?

Problem 1: Head Coach Problem 2: Coaching Problem 3: Recruiting...Because of coaching Problem 4: The coaching of the players that show up Problem 5: MC, BR, SR. Many borderline Jr High players would rather go to the successful programs and watch vs. going somewhere to rebuild.

Talent level in CCL Blue is pretty impressive

Totally level playing field... How many MC kids with offers are from another state. I guess the I in IHSA is just a suggestion

Bloom-Coal City will be interesting. I don't know much about how Coal City will be next year but they are always tough and disciplined. Thornton-Wilmington will be a bloodbath. Kankakee-Normal will be the best game of all of these. As long as Kankakee doesn't lose too much of their roster.

Sports like Football, Basketball, and Baseball will continue to get more and more concentrated in each area. Soon, it will be more about the level of talent in an area of the state rather than at a school or even in a conference. Look what's happened to LL Baseball and In House Sports for all...

NFHS Rules - Definition of a False Start, and Illinois' interpretation

I always felt it was equivalent to Defensive Delay of Game (Making calls that mirror the offensive cadence). Both should be fully enforced.

    Teams with most Returning Starters

It is my understanding the Public to Private transfers are allowed due to moving residences or academic needs. To go from Private to Public would just require a financial hardship statement. I do not think you can justify transferring to a Private school from a Public school because of...

Admin/Lenti/Alumni. Best win % since the mid 80's when St. L was more of a dominant private school. State runner up in 2023-24 then Qtr Final appearance in 2024-25. Why was Nissen not hired back?

Mike McCathy's scheme would be terrible for Caleb's development. His offense is too outdated to scheme up against the new styles of defense. Ben Johnson or Kingsbury. Both will help Caleb and understand how to develop an offensive scheme. Get a veteran DC and SP-T Coord. and BJ's lack of...
