What do you think Rutgers would realistically need to pay for next head coach in money and years?

Curious what budget for next head coach Rutgers would offer. has to be $7-8 million per year for 5 years at a minimum to attract a good candidate. Is this right ball park or would we need to be higher? guess bigger question is would Rutgers be willing and able to pay it?

    Alt Accounts

OP is a lightweight and a whack job. Thinks anyone that supports Greg still is a Al clone. I have been on rivals since 2003. I was posting as superfan01 when it was still rutgersfan.com. I go way back. Many can vouch for me. I'm not Al ya moron.

    Hey Al…..

Sounds expensive. Not sure where the money is going to come from. 7-5 and bowl should be our goal every year. I don't think you or many on here are realistic to Rutgers football. Your dont seem like someone who truly grasps our financial situation, revenue and what it takes to win in...

    Hey Al…..

Given our fiscal situation and Greg's contract and the success he has had here I support Greg coming back for 1 more year with a bowl game or bust stipulation.

    **2026 Rutgers Football fan survey**

Greg should come back in 2027. Most successful coach in program history in modern era combined with a massive buyout for a department that has lost close to a half billion dollars in the last decade and has minimal alumni support. Greg will get this fixed and back to bowling again. We must...

Firing Greg makes zero financial sense.

We don't get millions in donations. Our fan base is too small and doesn't give. We're not PSU and LSU. It makes zero financial sense to fire him. We won't get a payout. And we will fire him and explode the deficit to take a flyer on a coach to at best go 7-5 and back to the pinstripe bowl...

Firing Greg makes zero financial sense.

Firing Greg makes zero financial sense. We would have to pay $25 million to him and his staff to go away plus pay to hire a new staff. The athletic department burned $78 mil last year and has lost half a billion since joining big ten. NJ and many towns are facing huge deficits and...

Now it’s time to RUN THE TABLE

I remember when @AreYouNUTS and Al would sit at the same table at RU watch parties in Hoboken back in the day. Can't believe what has become of them too.

Rutgers AD Congratulates Greg Schiano on 100th Win

Give him 2027 to get back to a bowl. It's the fiscally responsible and smart football move to make.

Team is improving and playing hard. Time for Zinn to step up for Greg.

You give no money to Rutgers. You add no value to these boards. You are a mid level W2 yes man who is petrified to lose their job as you never built anything in your life.

Team is improving and playing hard. Time for Zinn to step up for Greg.

Similar to what she did with pike last season she shoud give an interview where she says Greg is getting this year and next year. That would put to bed the fire Greg talk and let the team focus.

Team is improving and playing hard. Time for Zinn to step up for Greg.

As we enter the heart of BIG play it's time now for Zinn to step up and stop the noise surrounding Greg so the team can focus and rally. We're playing hard and getting better every week. Let's put to bed the Fire Greg talk being brought on by many who don't donate at all. Those of us who give...
