    Opt outs

There's more than enough charter and preps schools to have their own thing.

I do believe his ultimate goal is to go back to Beddingfield, where he started. And he has shown already that he'll leave a job after only one year there. That's how we got him.

Understood. I really only had Nash Central's conference as a reference. It's not impressive.

    Bracket Takeaways

I will say that Nash Central had one of the toughest non conference schedules in the state, followed by one of the easiest conference schedules in the state. What is a 4A/3A/2A conference anyway lol. What does it prove when a 4A school wins it? Do the 2A schools even have a chance? It's weird...

Playing up shouldn't be weighted for two reasons: Having a larger student body doesn't mean you have a better football team. And the other and more important reason is because if it was weighted, it wouldn't work. How? It'll only benefit the smaller schools. If a 2A school tried to schedule a 5A...

I hope that isn't true. Not because they don't deserve to be in, because they do. But it's too late. Everything is set. Teams are preparing for who they've been paired with already. And putting them in now will knock somebody out (Even though winless Weldon doesn't belong).

    Mark Cockrell. Horrible football coach.

    Whiteville Wolfpack seeding?

Why do I have to live with it? My school isn't even in this bracket. You're the one crying about it. But it's done. Whiteville didn't get the 1 seed. Live with it.

That cutting down on long road trips was done during the whole "pod" experiment. Having the playoffs based on distance betweens schools was terrible. So many rematches in the first round....ugh. Who wants to play conference opponents in round 1 of the playoffs? I'm glad they stopped doing that...

    Whiteville Wolfpack seeding?

I think each of these teams are good enough for a 3rd round run.

    Whiteville Wolfpack seeding?

Whiteville can't hide from playing poor teams. That's why they didn't get the number one seed, even though they're undefeated. Sorry. Everybody has tried to explain it to you. If it makes you feel any better, Warren County is undefeated. Warren County is the number THREE seed in 2A. Both one...

    Whiteville Wolfpack seeding?

A #2 seed in Holmes. A #6 seed in SW Edgecombe. A #2 seed and defending state champion in Wilson Prep. #5 seed Martin County. Hanging your hat on beating Clinton is cool and all, but don't forget about the other 9 games Whiteville played. Going into the last game of the regular season...

I wish y'all would be clearly west and stay there lol. It would be better, competition wise, year in and year out. But as far as the geographical center of NC is concerned, the town of Reidsville is slightly on the right. High Piont is slightly on the left. And East Columbus, being 40 miles from...

Just curious to know if there is anything interesting that stands out to you when it comes to the brackets? Any weird matchups or seedings? What about surprise playoff teams? Two surprises for me are 4A Washington, which started 0-5, finished 3-7, and gets to host a playoff game, and 4A Nash...
