OT: Iamaleava done for the year

No suspension. He was trying to hit the ball out, which is approved by the NCAA. The man moved. He missed. His hand hit the helmet a glancing blow. Sorry until the NCAA cleans up the rules it's ok in my opinion. I do think this should be made illegal and that other rules need to be enforced...

Michigan Fans Have Been Complaining About Officiating Errors in Iowa Game

Here Ya go: An offensive lineman can legally catch a tipped pass if, at the moment the ball is tipped, he becomes an eligible receiver under the rules — either by having declared himself eligible before the play or by the ball being touched by a defender or eligible offensive player first

It’s still a long season, enjoy your lucky win

Hmmm. How did the video clips of the Michigan fans celebrating a win over Western Michigan chuckle you? Let me say that again WESTERN MICHIGAN. A game you won, but lost if the rules had been followed. You prove the adage that One only sees the arogance in others and not in themselves. You are...

    Indiana 2 NU 0

Fitzgerald is the last name of the player responsible for the QB who bit early and then couldn't get back outside to stop the TD.

I'm calling it now: Iowa wins next week

Hmmmm. Me thinks, Michigan may be a bit overrated, not just on this board but by college football fans and pundits everywhere. In reality, they lost to Western Michigan, and they didn't really destroy what is turning out to be a So So Oklahoma team who barely got past New Mexico last night at...

Re-watched the game and here are some tidbits

Hmmm. ISU has two 300 lb. tackles and was in a six-man front most of the night. Their plan was to take away the run, believing that Iowa couldn't beat them through the air.

The punt returner position for those who are squawking

a AHHHH. But he has already returned one for a touchdown. Just sayin.

OT sort of: Rate ISU on thug plays, on purpose fouls

Evans wasn't back there most of the night. In fact that might be the only piunt that he was. Reece Vander Zee was the starting punt returner.

According to reports, the game clock in the stadium isnt the official clock

Not accurate at all. Despite being able to show 100th's of second, the clock is still started and stopped manually. Look it up.

WTF!!! Highway robbery, W Mich gets it up the ***, terrible

Time to put a digital, extremely accurate clock on the replay starting from the instant the center starts to hike the ball. My guess is that it would show over 10 seconds elapsed before the ball was touched. Oh, and where are all the up-close pictures that one usually sees when something like...

DSM Reg writer Leistekow has Iowa losing to Minny and jNorthwester!!! Your thoughts

Really: By whom? They spent $21.1 million in 2025 and that is before the $40 to $50 million they supposedly received this year from Mark Cuban for their NIL fund. I would guess they will spend in excess of $30 million this year.

    Ben Kueter returning in 2026

Nope. Not even close. While he was on the lighter side, weighing around 230lbs, the weight allows you to compete if you weigh between 183 and 285 lbs. He wrestled lighter guys in the BIG TEN.

Miami and Florida State to the BIG?

Really. Did you stay up all night thinking about what to write. So sad.

    Exhibition games rule change

Not sure how playing the best of the best helps in a scrimmage. If you have a young team and they get blown out, does it hurt them for the remainder of the season. Scrimmages aren't designed for the fans.

Do we now have the size (and pieces) to reach the Final Four?

Ahhhh, but according to the seeding, Iowa was the underdog. 8 v 9.
