    Diallo strikes me as a fragile psyche, looking to take the first train out of town. After the Bolden fiasco, I'm not convinced anymore that K doesn't tell committals to 'hold off' with the express purpose of screwing other teams.

    If Diallo truly wasn't going to class, then Calipari needs to do the right thing and publicly call the kid out on it, and publicly decry taking on players mid-season. Otherwise, he's just started a troubling trend in his quest to pad the OAD numbers. It needs to be "program first".

    What will be your answer if Cal walks with only 1 title in all these years? As much as I loathe what Pitino came after leaving UK, right now Calipari is in a solid third place as a "coach".

    It would be a start, legal binding or not. Hold a person to their principles, or lack of, if you can't take them to court. Would Diallo want something like that hanging over his head? It would have a negative effect on his draft status whenever that might be. But I'll bet a million dollars...

    We lost nothing while Diallo was here. Well, we could have used his help, and by all accounts he was ready to contribute, so he chose to put the future over the present. For sure, what UK will lose in this situation (if Diallo elects to not come back) is its reputation as THE place to play...
