Unfortunately FSU is on the outside looking in for the ACC tournament. They needed the opportunity to play us more than we needed it, it would seem.

What am I missing here- no Chloe on a national team?

Any word on how the ACC will handle the missed game for standings. If UNC takes care of business (Stanford, SMU, and Louisville) it won't matter even playing 1 less game. However if they drop one of those it becomes a big talking point. Also FSU needs the opportunity to win more points to get...

Agreed that defense carried the day. I didn't feel like we looked confident taking shots- some esp corners seemed timid almost. Also I saw visible frustration on some of the players faces and body language.

At least we have Wake and Duke on a Friday!

    UNC Field Hockey 2026-2027

A pattern Im seeing the last 2 weekends- dominate on Friday and then dont play as sharp and confident on Sunday. I feel like that are subbing consistently so not sure fatigue. But our confidence and body language was night and day better this Friday than yesterday and id say the same about last...

Defense was much better in 3rd quarter. We have missed so many shots around the rim. But love the hustle and intensity. Gabby brings it every play!

Harping is going to be special. As game is progressive she seems to get more comfortable. A nice drive under the basket dribbled onendribble and then a turn around sweet jump shot (not sure I described it accurately but impressive). Offense seems stagnant. Dribble off high screen and everyone...

True but I think alot of that had to do with disrespect for ACC football- hard to disrespect ACC field hockey

One more thing- I thought Barbacci was terrific. Not sure if box score was accurate but says she only played 16 minutes. If so that was an impactful 16 minutes

I didn't remember her when she was at UNC. Too bad she didn't stick around.

I thought tonight was a really good response to last Sunday. We controlled the pace of play and basically dominated control of the game- it could have easily been 7-0. Dani responded. Reece looked really really good in 2nd half. The FR are getting better and better. And the bench is producing...

Im not sure about playing more players although he did have confidence in Mara during duke. Im thinking more minutes from Dennigan (unless injury is still bothering her), Bradley and Roossien (again he trusted her during duke and she played well).
