    Move on

I appreciate the way Stoops elevated the program so very much. However, I think when the TAMU thing fell through, he needed to move on. UK felt jilted and Stoops kind of let go of the rope at that point. It just happens sometimes when you stay somewhere a long time. It’s not like he was Cal...

Brad Calipari promoted to Assistant Coach

This is absolute truth. Source is one of Cal’s closest buddies from Lex who I happen to know. Cal couldn’t believe he couldn’t do whatever he wished. The hostage video with Mitch showed how little they could work together from that point on. Cal couldn’t believe he even had to do that sit...

UK basketball headed towards worst decade in its history

The program is no longer elite as evidenced by these numbers alone. We all want it to turn around. Whether that can happen with Pope at the helm is, at minimum, a massive question mark. I know this downward trend was on Cal without a doubt, but that blame game can only last so long...

Adidas helps it partners with direct NIL

Although I’m not broken hearted about losing out on Stokes, this is still truth. Nike has done zero to help UK. Been that way quite a while now.

    Mitch Barnhart Settlement Agreement

I had a lot of respect for Mitch for a long time, but the way it ended for him has damaged him in my eyes a bit. I also know we don’t know everything behind the scenes to explain decisions like this. Personally, as an alum and parent of current student, I think Capiluto should be sent packing...

What on court coaching by Cal angered you most?

    Not using his timeouts

    Your all-time round-by-round run

Man… these are fun. I was at Uk from 1993-98. I pinch myself to think I was there in the glory days of the ‘90s. I was so lucky! I’m trying not to let that skew and really trace my fandom back to the early 80s when making these selections. Mine are a little different but here goes: Rd of 64...

    Destin Florida

Close drive for many Kentuckians (10 hours or less), so this happens a lot. Lots of people from this state vacation in the panhandle. We go every year and the same has always happened to me… no matter the time of year!

He’s the hot new girl. Everyone is seeemingly in love. I’m gonna sit back and watch. Ask me this in a couple years.

With so many universities in the red… where does UK stand?

Yeah… I read this article last summer. Just didn’t know if there had been any additional updates since this came out. Thanks for sharing!

With so many universities in the red… where does UK stand?

Just asking. I know for bonded monies, UK has been doing well as construction on the campus would indicate. My question is more along the lines of how is UK doing operationally with all the cuts to funding? How is UK doing athletically when it comes to funding? I’m not really talking NIL but...

Kevin Garnett: "Jamal Mashburn is probably one of the most underrated players in our history."

Correct… I concur and have also seen many in my time.

Updated rankings from ESPN and SI

I think the biggest issue is we have to compete in all games. The Gonzaga debacle from last year was unacceptable on every level. Effort was a major issue in games last season. There were too many games in year 1 and year 2 where we simply didn’t compete and got run off the court. More in...

Being a UK fan sucks *** currently.

Mitch’s last year as AD has been one of his worst. From a success and performance standpoint, it was possibly the worst of his tenure for the total sports performance at Uk. That will be reflected in the directors cup standings. Volleyball and women’s hoops are the only ones who were truly...
