FIFA President proposes selling stake in future World Cup revenues

Most fans understand that soccer is the most corrupt sport outside of boxing. None of this is surprising. Just wait until the Balogun red card reversal is linked to this.

    2026 Phillies Thread

Dombrowski and Middleton are driving the ship into the rocks. They will literally run it back again and wonder why the Phils miss the playoffs. It may be for the best. No top manager will want to take on this roster. They are beached due to bad contracts.

    2026 Eagles Thread

This is why I lean toward the blow it up and rebuild approach this season and next. We saw the same thing in the 2018 and 2019 seasons. This defense is much better, but there are parallels on offense. It’s going to be a bumpy couple of years while they cycle much of this dead cap money off the...

    2026 Eagles Thread

It’s early in the week, but there are encouraging reports that Barkley, Smitty and Dickerson should be back next game. That would help the offense.

    Campbell Question....

Iowa over the past few years isn’t close to the standard needed at Penn State. It’s early, but the questions about Penn State being too big for Campbell are justified. He’s a low-key and quiet guy. This is a big media circus type of program. I worry that he’s a good coach, but just not cut out...

    Campbell Question....

The talent on defense is Dark Years level. And even then there were some athletic guys like Tamba Hali who wound up being high level players. There is nobody like that on the DL or front 7.

So was all the passing once they were in FG range. One run there and the FG gets attempted as time expired.

Blow it up and tank this season. The Barkley trade rumors may have some truth. Use the season to get looks at young guys. Bite the bullet with Hurts and plan to move on after next season. Build for the next window.

Out with a whimper. I am now convinced that Hurts won’t be an Eagles after next season. He’s just awful without an All Star cast. He can’t even make a hot read.

The offense just has nothing. 3rd and 9. Guess what Jax did? They blitzed Hurts who threw a bad pass way short of the sticks. Another 3 and out.

There’s no consistency to his improvement. The book on him has been pressure for years. A $50 million a year QB needs to be better. Imagine how the defense feels. They’re playing their asses off and the Eagles offense can’t even sniff a second half FG.

Hurts just hasn’t improved against the blitz. I love the guy, but he’s not good enough without supreme talent around him.
