No need for an apology. I was just clarifying.

BB: First Impressions Pope Year 3

I think ALOT of people saw what they wanted to see . Whether it was good or bad .

    Hawthorne or Ousmane

I saw flashes from both. Didn’t see anything to make me think they could be a productive sec player though. Heck , I saw flashes from Jasper Johnson last year.

Me too . Pope does too . He knows how important that game is .

I’m talking about the dude you were responding to. I said “that guy” not “ this guy”.

That dude has some of the most ridiculous takes on this board ,lol.

What do you want to see (this season) for Pope to prove himself?

Top 3 seed with at least a sweet 16 or Top 4 seed with at least a final 8 Either will be enough to bring him back for another year.

Offense purposely vanilla tonight per Pope

The high pick&roll and Zoom action are staples in a Mark Pope offense. Didn’t see much if any of that tonight. So yeah, I believe him .

    Williams -vs- Jasper

When I first saw this post I thought it said Wilkins vs Jasper…..which got me thinking…..

    Dink Pate leaving Providence

I just thought it was ridiculous for Pope to even consider bringing in a player with such a history of injuries after last year’s debacle.

    Dink Pate leaving Providence

“Couldn’t see that injury coming “…….Freeman has missed almost as many games as he’s played because of injuries.

    Dink Pate leaving Providence

Absolutely on Freeman . Pope declined to match St John’s offer . That was never a whiff . Don’t know about Dink but you’re probably right.
