I will say it again, I am really worried the implications if this is Iran’s doing. We would most likely go full war because the President, clearly already triggered yesterday about being taken out by them would go scorched earth and all there in the administration with bullseyes on back would support it too for the same self preservation reasons, no ***** given on the costs of lives and military that would result. They to the man and woman view our military as their personal troops to do their bidding. I am very worried.

Sigh, I feel sad that the state of our politics has devolved to where we are. Many things can be true at once.
  • Grave dancing is usually wrong and those dancing on Graham’s grave might want to think on that.
  • Grave dancing while president (Trump/Mueller example) is even more wrong because as a leader you help shape the cultural narrative and influence millions. Is that the example y’all want for your kids?
  • Graham was not a positive influence on the direction of this country and I am glad he is no longer in the senate. But that does not mean I don’t have empathy for his boy toys who lost their sugar daddy. I hope they find peace in his passing.
Because they're complete and total full of **** hypocrites one of the rituals that the right goes through now whenever one of their own dies is nut picking for those on "the left" that are "celebrating" the death.

It's another aspect of their total depravity/degeneracy.

If they can't find a prominent dem/liberal celebrating they'll go looking for randos on the twitter/blue sky or the facebook.

They are going to be in quite a state when Dear Leader finally kicks the bucket from one of his many ailments.

Yep. Not saying they did it but the timing is very interesting and I was wondering if they would take credit for it regardless. Might get bumpy. I can tell you for sure a whole bunch of security measures are being quietly added to a lot of people and their family. I would image our Secretary of War and his family may have as much security as the VP.
As with the not gaming out the possible results of starting a professed existential "regime change" war with Iran (see immediate closure of the Strait of Hormuz) , not thinking through the possible consequences of breaking the taboo of going after the top government officials of another sovereign country is another of the idiotic, obvious results of this war.

If the Trumpers are worried about the Iranians going after top American politicians/officials, they've provided the justification/pretext themselves.

They won’t have to look far for people actually celebrating when it happens
There will be people openly celebrating a death in the streets of America for the first time since Osama Bin Laden, and deservedly so. Bin Laden did less damage to the United States.

Also a good time to remind everyone that Trump cracked jokes about Paul Pelosi almost being killed. Republicans were so appalled at Trump's statements that they had no choice but to vote for him.
So you want to behave like Trump. Got it.

I believe the Russia bombed him conspiracy theory more and he never returned to the US. They bombed the exact factory he was in. Heart attack probably keeps the cover to avoid full blown ww3. Either way this stinks of cover up.

We’d look into it, but we’re tied up with the reflecting pool investigations and harassing journalists for reporting on Qatar Force One.

Friends,

It’s tempting in these perilous times to say bad things about Republican leaders who have died. Trump has no trouble demeaning and ridiculing opponents who have passed. But Trump shouldn’t be our guide on this or anything else.

One of the best things I can say about Graham is that he counseled Trump to remain supportive Ukraine, even when Trump wanted to abandon the nation. Graham had been one of Ukraine’s staunchest supporters in Washington. He died just hours after returning from Ukraine, where he met with President Volodymyr Zelensky. He told reporters in Kyiv on Friday that a bipartisan group of senators had reached an agreement with the White House to impose new sanctions on Russia in an effort to end that country’s long-running war with Ukraine.

I’ve criticized Graham as an opportunist and worse. I remember being impressed with the position he took in 2106, when he was one of the few Republicans to say publicly that Trump was unfit to serve as president. Then, after Trump won the Republican nomination, Graham chose to vote for third-party candidate Evan McMullin rather than Trump. Yet Graham emerged as one of Trump’s key Senate supporters, defending Trump’s conduct and policies. After Trump was accused of inciting the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol, Graham argued that Trump should not be impeached.

Where is the line between opportunism and pragmatism? After the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol, Graham appeared to break with Trump, saying on the Senate floor, “Count me out. Enough is enough.” A few months later, he acknowledged Trump’s continued hold over the Republican Party. “Can we move forward without President Trump? The answer is no,” he said. “I’ve determined we can’t grow without him.”

Graham was a moderate on immigration, and was part of a bipartisan effort in 2013 to overhaul the system that passed the Senate but failed to gain support in the more conservative House. He tried repeatedly to give Dreamers—the immigrants brought to the U.S. illegally as children—a pathway to citizenship, and almost succeeded during Trump’s first term before hard-liners helped blow up the effort.

I remember how close Graham was to Senator John McCain, one of my personal heroes and among the most principled people ever to serve our nation. Graham often cited McCain as his closest friend and mentor, crediting McCain with teaching him how to learn from failure and the importance of working together across the aisle.

Graham’s 71st birthday was Thursday. Lindsey Graham, R.I.P.

Zero chance the country he loved so much would have done this to him and blamed Iran. I absolutely cannot imagine that could happen.

Why would I say anything different about a person who was repugnant and reprehensible while he/she/they was alive. Dying doesn't make anyone a better person, and it doesn't make Kirk or Graham or McConnell or Trump worthy of being mourned. I'll call them all exactly what they were when they were breathing and, yes, I'll be glad when the whole lot are gone.
Some things are better left unsaid.

Unfortunately, with Donald Trump as POTUS, common decency went out the window a long time ago. So, in that respect (pun intended), I don’t really care if anyone in the MIB gets their feelings hurt by repugnant and reprehensible comments toward the deceased—Charlie Kirk, Graham, or anyone else. IIRC, the slogan goes something like “Hooray for MAGA—because f#ck your feelings,” or something to that effect. So, you know, the whole what’s good for the goose…

I still don’t agree with dancing on someone’s grave because you didn’t like their politics. But, at this point, with so many so-called “Christian” people cosigning a lot of this sh*tty behavior, I am not going to worry about it unduly.

With that said, I am looking forward to the day Donald Trump’s wretched and miserable existence on this earth comes to an end. I don’t know that I will gloat per se, but I do plan to giggle through all the fireworks and hysteria it will generate, especially on platforms like these. 😝

I will be celebrating that day. I will celebrate the death of the man who has cost thousands and thousands of people their lives and who has caused irreparable damage to my country. A conman, sexual predator…yeah I’m going to be happy.

I don't celebrate anyone's death, karma's existence is far too plausible, but I am under no obligation to mourn for anyone either.

Today was a pleasant, yet extremely warm day to mow the lawn.
