The UK President who just voted along with the rest of the SEC Presidents/Chancellors to reaffirm the SEC transfer rule, and empowered the SEC commissioner to dramatically punish UK if you try to put Mark Mitchell in a game.

Is he well liked? Does he support athletics? Old and out of touch?

Tell me about the UNC president/admin that resided over the decades long diploma mill UNC athletics was running? Tell me how McCants, who can’t even spell ACC, was on the deans list? Amongst others?

Gonna make Trollheel cry.
You responded to it seriously though. And he’s been an awful president. I guess if you count building big buildings as doing well, sure. Tuition is through the roof and the education is lacking, to say it in a conservative way. Athletics has been a mess with the contracts he obviously approved. As much as Mitch gets blame, people had to sign off on it too so they shouldn’t escape the pushback either.

The school president has way more big picture stuff to worry about than a basketball player or even the team. Thats why he has an AD.

So hes not some super fan like people on here.
Tell that to LSU’s president. This is the SEC. We either get serious about winning or roll over and just milk the fans for money with no intention of putting a winning product on the field/court. “It just means more” isn’t just a saying. College sports run the south. Alabama elected a damn football coach.

Sure. Sorry I stated my mother’s opinion about someone she worked with(forever ago)hurts you so deep. You take this message board thing way too serious guy.

Quit stalking, weirdo.

For the record, she does actually like him but she liked the president before as well.

how old are you?

He is on the verge of retiring, mostly likely within the next year so I doubt he really give a crap what is decided.

He was hired to strengthen UK HealthCare’s teaching and clinical capacity among other things. He's done what he was hired to do. At the time a great hire and now it's time for more change. He's also lights years better Peter Hans.

You guys can say the OPS trolling. Whatever if Eli is voting against the best interest of our program, we need to know about it. I mean, I didn’t know about it. I can’t stand the old bag of crap. He enabled Barney. He’s the ultimate problem of all of the ill of all of the corruption all of the everything that we’re upset about as UK fans everything all of it tracks back to Eli. The guy is not a Kentucky guy at all and we need a president from the state of Kentucky. It’s plenty of talent in Kentucky to run the school. It’s not freaking Harvard. Eli’s way past his expiration date he’s like 76 or 77 years old. I mean these out-of-state guys they just squat in our job so they can earn a big pay checks. He hasn’t done a dang thing help UK I know people are gonna say money money money. A blind chimpanzee could be making money in this day and age. Eli loved cal more than he loves our school. He believes he’s well liked and loved. I mean being president of university is not the Supreme Court. It’s not a lifetime appointment I mean, can we get somebody to push this old guy out the freaking door already? He’s low energy when our school needs to fix a lot of the problems they were created by his lapdog athletic Director. You know the one he created a fake position for got called out by the governor.

We already kew that Eli voted like an idiot. It's on every UK radio show and in several threads here. Surely you didn't need a uNC fan to come over here and explain it to you.

Also, you obviously haven't been paying attention to this guy. This was definitely a bait thread and even if it's not, you don't go to someone elses board and post this about their program.

Again, we aren't even allowed on their boards.

There are very few who could accurately evaluate a university president. Many parameters go into that depending on his directive from the board and possibly faculty. It’s very political given the tension for funds from all the schools in the university. I served on the faculty of a slightly smaller school for 15 years but I could not fairly evaluate the president. I only was really knowledgeable of the actions that affected my school. In this instance his vote wouldn’t have mattered anyway. Why pick on him?

If I were OP, I'd be more concerned about my Tar Heels flying 5 time zones east to get their cheeks clapped in Ireland by TCU on national TV at noon today.

Julius Peppers was reading on a 4th grade level when he graduated. So somebody had to write this pathetic 'essay' for him.
