Cal actually said he supports it so long as they allow players who would be impacted by these late additions to transfer as well.
His argument was the kids who committed and went all summer having expectations to get an opportunity now, only to be pushed down the line due to the 2022 players coming back. He just believes they should have a fair opportunity to reevaluate the school given the new facts they wouldn't have had before this ruling.
