If that's how we're judging it, the "sucks" comes into play. Clemson, tOSU, Tennessee, Iowa St...that list goes on and on as well. I thought we were judging season to season.
As far as the SEC, anywhere from 1st to within 3 games of 1st place. Last season that gets you a tie for 2nd, but if several teams are bunched at the top and we are 4th or 5th but right there at the top, that's quite well. Hoping Elite 8 or better, but S16 is fine depending on the matchup and how tough a game we play. Add all that up and you were a team that could play with anyone

You are grasping at straws. Pope has not been up to snuff for a UK coach for the majority of games but he was really good against Duke. He knew exactly what CF was planning to do at the end of the game and schemed against it. He has had some really good moments BUT he has had some horrible moments too. Overall he has been average and I don't mean average for UK. His first team was good. His last team was awful to watch.
