I hated to see cutter go. He has talent. Would have loved to see how he would have done with Stein and co.Glad Stoops helped build the program up but also glad as hell we have moved on.
He’d be worse than Minchey. That’s all you need to know.I hated to see cutter go. He has talent. Would have loved to see how he would have done with Stein and co.
Dude, it was against Morgan State, so you might wanna hold off on that take.More proof of what most of us knew, that Stoops was his own worst enemy
Same. He had talent as shown here. Obviously not a great team but I think he will be a good college QB. Minchey looked good against a legit Smaller school.I hated to see cutter go. He has talent. Would have loved to see how he would have done with Stein and co.
We didn't exactly play Ohio State lolDude, it was against Morgan State, so you might wanna hold off on that take.
It is a nice stat line. But I’m not sure what a nice stat line tells us against an impoverished hbcu that perennially finishes at the bottom of the MEAC.
ASU may’ve been trying to win cupcake-iest cupcake award with that scheduling choice.
Agreed. And I’d say the same to anyone who cited yesterday’s game as “proof” of anything about Stein or Minchey. We didn't exactly play Ohio State lol
Nope. He bailed out on UKHe didn't choose to leave, Stein didn't want him so he had to look elsewhere. If Stein had wanted him he would be here. Not a knock on the coach or the kid just a fact. It is a shame that a KY kid that IS very talented and wanted to play here is in Arizona. Bad timing on his part more than anything. If he was graduating this year instead of 3 years ago it might have worked out. Minchey is our QB and thats okay as well.
I doubt it , if Stein had wanted him he would be here.Nope. He bailed out on UK
If I recall correctly, Az St made an offer and UK matched it. The Sun Devils then raised the ante and I think Stein decided that if he was going to pay that amount, he probably should pay for the QB he wanted.I doubt it , if Stein had wanted him he would be here.
Boley wanted assurances he would be the starter. Can’t do that.I doubt it , if Stein had wanted him he would be here.
I am not going to put too much of this on Boley. It is a big decision and it has paid off at least in game one for him. He likely loses the starting job after competing here at UK, but he clearly has the talent to start somewhere.Boley wanted assurances he would be the starter. Can’t do that.
Stein publicly said he met with him first and wanted him.
UK matched his nil offer and Boley started the money game and UK wouldn’t keep playing.
If Boley really loved UK and wanted to play at home for UK he could/would have stayed and competed.
He would have got that here. He wanted a guarantee to start.Put what on him? He got what he wanted: $$$$
