I keep going back and forth on this game. At first, I thought LSU would win by 10+. Then I swung over to, “Ole Miss in a close one because Chambliss is going to will them to victory.” Then I realized that LSU is better at almost every position. And then I counter-realized that Clemson is dogshit and LSU was in a real battle with La Tech for 3 quarters.

No clue how this one goes.

There are rules about this. If Kiffin is trolling, LSU will end up paying a hefty fine over it.

If true, this demonstrates perfectly what I said yesterday. OM is the luckiest program to exist. This is the kind of stuff that happens to prop them up so they look like more than they are. Conversely, just look at our fortunes. USCe is getting BACK two great players who haven't played in the first two games.

eta: I agree, this is almost 100% a trick. BUT - if true, I stick by the above. Also, Dottery is no small loss if he doesn't play.

I wonder what staged event he has planned to make OM look bad and to rally his team. Or is it too soon from the staged event in Starkville?

There’s enough plausible deniability out there to get away with it. Apparently he did not practice yesterday and has some kind of minor shoulder issue.

There's a pretty big gap between questionable and doubtful however, especially that early in the week. That's the rub.

According to the article I read, the SEC rules state listing a player as doubtful means he has a 25% chance to play in the game. Players are listed as questionable all the time, but doubtful is a much stronger designation. If he is listed as doubtful and then winds up playing the whole game with no issues, the SEC is going to get involved, especially after the dog and pony show that just ended last week.

I hope they make them vacate the win.
