Let's see...

Truman gave us the Korean War but he didn't actually start it.

Ike gave us the draw in Korea and took the first steps toward the Vietnam War. Can't really blame him for Vietnam, but he opened he door. As I understand it, the Bay of Pigs was planned under Ike.

JFK gave us the Bay of Pigs, which was a failure. He continued on the Vietnam path begun by Ike.

LBJ gets the blame for the Vietnam war, even though Ike and JFK set him up. He could have avoided it.

Nixon lost the Vietnam war. LBJ gets more blame, but Nixon deserves a lot, too.

I can't remember any meaningful war stuff for Ford or Carter. Sure, the Iranian revolution happened on Carter's watch but I'm not sure how that could have been averted once the Shah left. And Carter did not start a war over it. Plus, Carter gets credit for the Israel-Egypt peace deal.

Reagan won the totally unnecessary and meaningless war against Granada. Both Reagan and Bush41 prosecuted an illegal and fruitless war vs Nicaragua.

Bush41 allowed Saddam to invade Kuwait and then built a monstrous military coalition to swat that mosquito and correct his mistake. Some trace 9/11 to this excursion.

Clinton unleashed a brutal no-fly zone in Iraq. The Good Friday Agreement (Ireland) was on his watch.

It seems unfair to blame the Afghan war on Bush43, since most see it as a justified response to 9/11. But since most of the attackers on 9/11 were Saudis, once the AQ camps in Afghanistan were obliterated, what was the rationale for being there? Plus, he didn't win that war and left it for others.

Bush43 gets all the blame for starting and expanding the unjustified Iraq war.

Obama didn't start any wars that I can recall, although he did engineer the Honduras coup (probably Hillary, but on his watch). He ended the Iraq war on more-or-less OK terms. He surged in Afghanistan and didn't end it. Also on his watch (probably Hillary again) 90% of Ukraine shifted from the Russian sphere of influence to the West.

Trump45 negotiated our surrender in the Afghan war, but didn't stick around to take the heat.

Biden implemented the Trump surrender and took the heat. He warned against the Ukraine war but didn't prevent it. He supported Israel after the 10/7/23 Hamas attack - which seemed reasonable at the time - but continued supporting that slaughter long after it turned to genocide.

Trump47 cut back aid to Ukraine, ramped up support for genocide in Gaza even more, and started 2 wars of choice against Iran - the first a nominal success, the current one looking like a disaster. He kidnapped Maduro. And is apparently planning yet another unprovoked war against Cuba.

Not a great scorecard.

I might take some exception to your Vietnam analysis..yes JFK sent special forces "advisors", but LBJ pushed through the gulf of Tonkin resolution and he sent, I believe, up to 550,000 troops there...then similar to what trump is doing today, "managed" the war from Washington....Nixon was elected partly on the basis of ending the war. Johnson didn't run because of it, and somewhat like Biden had to get out the best he could.

Biden changed Trump’s withdrawal plans and failed miserably. He got 13 service members killed and turned over billions of dollars of weapons to terrorists. He then gave 10s of billions of dollars to Ukraine with zero ROI or strategic advantage for the Us. He was far and away the worst president in us history on all fronts.

Obama used the military to murder us citizens.

bush was responsible for the war on terror.

trump captured maduro in the greatest military operation in us history and ended Iran’s nuclear program and decimated 90+% of their military while killing the terrorist ayatollah and his homosexual son.

Trump is the best president in modern history.

Some (on both sides of the divide) will say Lincoln was the worst . . . on grounds that he should have let the South secede.

"Is Trump the Worst War President in US History?"

John Candy No GIF by Laff

Not even top 10 ...if you were realistically ranking them he'd probably fall outside the top 20.

There's a lot to criticize him about, and I personally don't feel this second term has been as good as I expected (due mainly to inflation/economy) but history will most likely be pretty kind or at worst neutral regarding his time in office.

Stopping the massive flow of undocumented freeloaders into our country alone will offset any of the negatives.

I realize there are those who are fully TDS infected and will never accept his policies or anything he accomplished, but hopefully once they and their spawn are underground feeding the worms a generation or two from now, they'll look back and be much more appreciative of what Trump/MAGA did at this time in history.

Inflation rose after he took office. Job production plummeted. Deficits skyrocketed. Government spending skyrocketed. He started the dumbest war possible. Diesel hit record highs. Gas went through the roof. Energy in general skyrocketed.

Best he can hope for is that everyone forgets about him.

Let's see...

Truman gave us the Korean War but he didn't actually start it.... DID HE GIVE US THIS OR DID THE UN?

Ike gave us the draw in Korea and took the first steps toward the Vietnam War. Can't really blame him for Vietnam, but he opened he door. As I understand it, the Bay of Pigs was planned under Ike.

JFK gave us the Bay of Pigs, which was a failure. He continued on the Vietnam path begun by Ike.

Nixon lost the Vietnam war. LBJ gets more blame, but Nixon deserves a lot, too.... NIXON DIDNT LOSE THE WAR. THE WAR WAS LOST THE MOMENT OUR LEADERS DECIDED THEY WERE NOT GOING TO TRY AND WIN IT. THEY ACTED LIKE IT WAS A POLICE OPERATION. THE MOMENT THEY DECIDED THEY DIDNT WANT ANOTHER KOREA THEY SHOULD HAVE LEFT...

I can't remember any meaningful war stuff for Ford or Carter. Sure, the Iranian revolution happened on Carter's watch but I'm not sure how that could have been averted once the Shah left. And Carter did not start a war over it. Plus, Carter gets credit for the Israel-Egypt peace deal... CARTER WAS WEAK AND ALLOWED AMERICAN TERRITORY TO BE INVADED AND TAKEN AND AMERICAN CITIZENS TO BE HELD HOSTAGE FOR MORE THAN A YEAR. I GIVE HIM HUGE CREDIT FOR EGYPT AND ISRAEL...

Some trace 9/11 to this excursion...AGREED

Clinton unleashed a brutal no-fly zone in Iraq. The Good Friday Agreement (Ireland) was on his watch.... ALSO DECIDED TO NATION BUILD IN SOMALIA WHICH LED TO THE BLACKHAWK DOWN

It seems unfair to blame the Afghan war on Bush43, since most see it as a justified response to 9/11. But since most of the attackers on 9/11 were Saudis, once the AQ camps in Afghanistan were obliterated, what was the rationale for being there? Plus, he didn't win that war and left it for others....AGREED

Bush43 gets all the blame for starting and expanding the unjustified Iraq war....DONT FORGET BOTH DEMS AND PUBS SUPPORTED THIS IN THE BEGINNING, THERE WAS A VOTE...

Obama didn't start any wars that I can recall, although he did engineer the Honduras coup (probably Hillary, but on his watch). He ended the Iraq war on more-or-less OK terms. He surged in Afghanistan and didn't end it. Also on his watch (probably Hillary again) 90% of Ukraine shifted from the Russian sphere of influence to the West.... HE FERMENTED AND BACKED A COUP IN UKRAINE TO OVERTHROW THE PRO-RUSSIAN GOV ELECTED BY THE PEOPLE OF UKRAINE AT THE TIME....

Trump45 negotiated our surrender in the Afghan war, but didn't stick around to take the heat... THE LEFT AND RIGHT WANTED THE WAR TO END AND THE LEFT PROTESTED THE WAR FOR MANY YEARS TO END IT. TRUMP WAS GIVING YOU WHAT YOU WANTED....

Biden implemented the Trump surrender and took the heat. He warned against the Ukraine war but didn't prevent it. He supported Israel after the 10/7/23 Hamas attack - which seemed reasonable at the time - but continued supporting that slaughter long after it turned to genocide.... BIDEN BOTCHED THE PULLOUT AND DIDNT FOLLOW THE TRUMP PLAN. BIDEN ALSO GAVE RUSSIA THE OK TO INVADE UKRAINE ON TV FOR THE WORLD TO SEE AND THEY DID RIGHT AFTER THAT....

Trump47 cut back aid to Ukraine, ramped up support for genocide in Gaza even more, and started 2 wars of choice against Iran - the first a nominal success, the current one looking like a disaster. He kidnapped Maduro. And is apparently planning yet another unprovoked war against Cuba.... THERE IS NO GENOCIDE IN GAZA, THERE WAS A WAR IN GAZA OF WHICH IRAN IS HEAVILY INVOLVED USING MONEY GIVEN TO THEM BY OBAMA/BIDEN...

Not a great scorecard.
Lots of rewriting history in all that...
