Normally, I wouldn't have hope to start with, but this time feels different. I've watched so much film this week, and our guys execution has been damn near perfect in the first two games, while USCe's has been far from it.
I really wished this segment of our fan base would stop being so negative.
if SPS would get serious and get our % off 38% we’d have more hope. All the talk about south farm fighting has us distracted from the game. That’s exactly what those cocks wanted!
Yep that's it. We have the starting talent to win 8 games. But a few key injuries would see that number drop like a rock.

One of my favorite sports message board constants is some poster legit mad that the board lost the game by not being focused, or serious enough, etc. it usually pops up as a casual pregame warning that “we” aren’t taking the opponent seriously enough and if we lose you will get a follow up melt post-game. I don’t know that we have “that guy” on SPS rn but we have before.

I'm always prepared for the worst as an MSU fan. I've seen us lose any way you can think of. Last week was a pleasant surprise. It's really tough to win on the road, but I think MSU does have a chance to win. Can't have penalties and turnovers and need the D to show up. These are the games where if everyone else can just play a clean game, our skill players can make the plays for us to win.
Hell, even I think we win & LSU wins.
Honestly, from the title I thought this was gonna be another pants shiiting thread and Jethro was reminding everyone to bring a change of drawers.

I would love nothing more than to beat SC tomorrow and for LSU to win. We've only won ONE SEC game since Lebby's been here, so I'm not getting confident yet. One good game against MN doesn't make this a great team.

There are four scenarios that will come out of the weekend. #1) the one you mention where Ole Miss wins and is back to being the national darling, we lose and our momentum is gone #2) We win and they win, creating a Mississippi buzz a little like 2014 #3) We both lose and both programs are deflated #4) They lose/turn on Pete and we win becoming the new darling team in Mississippi.

My gut is saying this game is going to be 2011 Auburn all over again, but this time Kamario gets it done unlike Relf at the end of the game.
Vibe for me seems like both us and LSU roll. Maybe it's because I'm not emotionally invested anymore.

Yea, I had forgotten about the stress of upcoming games now that I think we might actually be good. The last few years have been totally stress free knowing we sucked.
Yeah Mizzou’s offense scares me more. Simmons has looked dang impressive.

I don't feel amazing about our game. There are ghosts in that stadium for us. I think about 40% chance we win is right.
However...
