Hope he takes note that Kentucky has the #1 Tight End Production in the country at this point. Why would he want to go all the way to Oklahoma when he can play in front of friends and relatives in a leading tight end offense for an up and coming team? Come on people in Danville. Talk some sense into this young man. We need him!

Great point...Venables looks like a deer in headlights on offense. And Stein has UK TE catchign all kinds of action in this offense. I don't see why you'd risk it either ot be honest.

Oklahoma is Stoops-ish on offense. Why would he want to play in an offense where you struggle to break 20? UK has the best offense in college football for TE’s.

This was the WIN that will send recruiting to a new level. Stein needed to show his vision and he has. Couldn't be more excited for the future. We got ourselves a ball coach at 35
I rarely post and certainly don’t pretend to have much inside info. I posted something a few weeks ago and I know someone mocked it, but regardless. I have a very close friend who is very tied into one of the best football programs in the state and the sentiment is that if Stein can win 5 games, then recruiting is going to get VERY interesting for us…in the best possible way. The best HS talent in the state is watching what‘s happening very closely and we are pushing hard for those kids.
IKR, I’ve felt like we had some solid TE’s the last 10 years who Stoops was like block. You will never get used, but block. Wildcat formation time!
Yup and we need to lock him down. His recruiting is already impressive. Getting the caliber of players we have coming to visit, plus the ones he’s already got committed is huge. We have a legit QB coming. That will lead to more skill positions that want to join as well.
This may be my fandom taking over, but 6 wins feels as if its the floor now. Vandy, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Missouri look beatable. And give me Louisville at 10-1 heading into the final game of the year. Stein will have these guys ready to play. Difference between Stoops and Stein being that Stein has proven he can instill focus and confidence instead of being brash and playing stupid.
Well we took a huge step toward five with that win yesterday. That proves we should be able to compete with almost anyone outside Georgia in the SEC this year. We always seem to play Georgia kinda tough but I don’t know if we will wear our like against Bama with them, and they are better.
I agree, those are 4 games we could win. Yeah unless Louisville plays terrible on the road I don’t see them losing more than 2 games with that schedule. They got one of the hardest wins they needed yesterday. We need a win over Louisville this year for momentum and in state recruiting.
It can all change for the better or worse in one game. Let's hope he and they build off of this and have a strong season. Nobody in the SEC ever did want to play a road game in Lexington. Now they really don't.
We played UGA tough because Stoops and Kirby both play a similar brand of football.
Besides the recruiting wins, he needed full buy-in from the fanbase and boosters. Mission accomplished yesterday. Now win the games you should and sprinkle in a couple more upsets and the portal king will be in action. Don't get it wrong, Stein wouldn't have accepted the job if he didn't think he could win big here.

Stein has been constantly building, in all aspects of football for this season and future. A bunch of the portal players he brought in can play multiple years. How refreshing to have a staff that looks capable of building depth.
Agreed. This seems like something where he’ll go for a year, decide that wasn’t the right call then come to UK
