I get the gist of what he's trying to say, but the math ain't mathing there. How can you go 6-5 in 10 games? And where does he get the 64% figure from?

Beamer did famously start celebrating the A&M game last year at halftime.

Maybe something similar happens more often behind closed doors.

I think if he had simply cited the 6-5 record in league games in which we had held a 10-point lead, that would have been sufficient to make the point. Sometimes less is better.

well, if anyone had read my one and only original "beamer with double digit leads" threads, you'd know that the X post acknowledged he only found 10 games at first, then found an additional one to make it 11. He updated part of the post but not the other. Hence the conflict between 10 and 6-5.

Losing games with double digit leads seems to point to lack of focus late in games and/or lack of physical fitness. Both point to coaching issues.
