Fletcher Cox was on campus today also. He is being added to MSU HOF this year.
The thought of a salary cap is nice, but there’s no way to police outside sources.
Then it will just go back to under the table payments to supplement the NIL payments.

The only way a cap would work is if there were strict unavoidable penalties for violating it. The Kawhi Leonard/Clippers situation comes to mind. But the blue bloods would simply skirt the rules and never be punished while the SMU's of the world would get the death penalty. When Nick Saban openly admits his success was due to Alabama cheating, I'll listen to him about "saving college sports" because I'm absolutely tired of his hypocritical whining. Guys....if there's one thing I can tell you with certainty....NFL guys have been asked to donate...by numerous people....for the past 25 years. With consistent regularity. That's a fact!
I mean, it's the NBA but they did just put the Clippers over the barrel for this very thing. Of course the NCAA is toothless but its good to see nonetheless.
That's my biggest objection, pushing the payrolling to the fanbase. Dont look at me for donations. I spend a ******* fortune just to be able to show up 2-3 times a year.
