Halftime takeaway for IU/NU game is that Hoover does not look like a championship QB. He can get you close, but misses opportunities IU will need in bigger games. Or, he needs to improve greatly in this offense.

Brohm had the schedule UL wanted to make the playoffs. Sitting at 15 with that schedule and a 3 point loss to Ole Miss was a UL fan’s dream for the playoff. Losing to Wake was bone crushing. I don’t know how Purdue nearly beat Wake, but UL should have won that game at home.
I still think Ole Miss is way overrated.
They barely beat a mediocre uofl team, Charlotte and then played the game of the year at home against the Kiffens.

Such a childish statement. Sumrall was hired by Florida one day prior to Stoops getting fired. I hate that Sumrall is at Florida. Love that we have Stein. Would’ve rather had Sumrall. That’s not his fault. That’s on Mitch and the others that drug their feet moving on from Stoops. Sumrall would’ve been a fool to turn down Florida.
#20 for Florida is a beast. He is fast and that 3rd and 10 run was a back breaker. Ole Miss could have got the ball either way a chance to make it a 3 point game and now they are down 17 with 10 minutes to go.
I’m not going to support Sumrall for taking the Florida job. FSU, Alabama, Clemson, anyone but somewhere like Florida, Tennessee or Louisville. I wouldn’t blame Louisville fans for thinking Stein is a traitor either. You don’t coach for your rival school and expect the fans where you played to be happy with it.
He took a great job and Stoops wasn’t fired yet. We got the guy we were supposed to get because of it. Stein seems legit too. Let’s see what happens. I like how it played out.

Those jobs weren’t open. Not sure it’s much of a rivalry either. Anyone that would look down their noses at a UK player and former assistant for taking the Florida job is just being petty. Especially when the UK job wasn’t even open. There’s a wide gap between being happy and using the words you used. Again, just childish.
You won’t be saying this crap if he ends up beating the crap out of us on a yearly basis.
If he ends up losing to us routinely or uses Florida as a stepping stone, I won’t be so hard on him. Otherwise, screw’em.
