If you wonder why it doesn't mean as much anymore here is from his Wikipedia page.

AAU Career:

On November 3, 2022, Dillingham left Donda Academy after multiple controversies surrounding its founder, Kanye West, and signed with Overtime Elite, a professional basketball league for late-high-school- and early-college-level players.[11] He joined the Overtime Cold Hearts, one of the six teams in the league.[12] Dillingham made his OTE debut for the Cold Hearts on November 11, recording six points, three rebounds and three steals in a 92–84 loss to the YNG Dreamerz.[12][13]

College career:

After spending one season with the University of Kentucky, Dillingham declared his entry into the 2024 NBA draft and received a green room invite.[14]

Hope I’m wrong but he’s the smallest player on the court in all his NBA games I think that will always hold him back
He's was a bad pick in a really weak draft. Teams in that spot bought in on his quickness/handle, but he's barely 6'2", 175. I can't think of one guy in the league that small.

McCain, Ware, Edey, Butzelis all drafted after him.

He ended up being my favorite player on that 2024 team. Only one that seemed genuinely pissed after every loss.

Still mad about the LSU game. Should have been his moment and we gave it away by letting the smallest dude on the court get a put back from 5 feet away. Rob had completely taken that game over.

Probably always gonna be a little mad at Cal for how hard he sold that season.

When Rob was at UK, I heard a rumor about him. People can fill in the blank but I will just say that if it was true, it would explain why he hasn’t gotten much of a chance. Because he isn’t lacking skill or ability.

You're probably referring to the same thing I heard about him.

Word around campus was that he preferred Italian operas over those from Austria. That won't fly in today's NBA, so it's no surprise he got cut.

The delta between #4 Castle and #8 Dilly was the Atlantic. So goes the draft.

He got his 12mm guaranteed and likely now off to Europe. Not a profile you see swishing around the league long if they don't hit early.

Speaking of rumors, what ever happened to the rumor that Coach Cal started showering with the team after games back in '16-'17 when Brad joined the team? I heard it from so many different people I have a hard time imagining it wasn't true.

It was said Cal would stand next to Brad in the showers after games and aggressively scrub himself down, sometimes refusing to break eye contact with his son.

Brad thought his dad was just trying to show him "what a real man looks like" as he was disappointed about Brad's lack of effort in the weight room. And other... shortcomings.

Have you ever been to an Italian opera? It’s like walking into a Greek bathhouse circa 800 BC

I have not but to the original point of the phrase I cannot imagine any opera being the epitome of male heterosexuality.

All that said, i wasn't aware this might be an obstacle for him. I assumed there is a fair deal of that in the league especially after seeing that locker room video from the 2012 team leaked. Maybe its just fatal for guys that aren't stars?

Idk if any of that is it, but its hard for me to believe he cant find the floor at least on a second unit

Well according to @Wunky it was a lot crazier than that. He’s saying the guy was on his knees begging guys that didn’t want it, purposefully cutting holes in his underwear, just crazy unhinged stuff. At least that’s what @Wunky was saying

You have to admit the rumor that your mind produces weird perverted creepy stuff is true?

He can’t play the point. He doesn’t guard. And he’s not a good shooter.

He was over drafted. He’s the same size as Iverson and Morant without their skills.
