Big Blue Madness

Lameguy · Oct 2, 2026

They’ve pretty much ruined it by splitting the time with the women, I’m all for the women having a separate one. Now they’re going to ruin the blue white game also. Everything‘s a damn show anymore, might as well watch wrestling or better yet bring back roller derby.

OliverSimmonsTwinBrother · Oct 2, 2026

Wrestling is far more entertaining and dare I say more legit than college basketball now a days.

BBM has been lame since It's inception. Bring back midnight madness at the end of October.

I went to the first one, it wasn’t big then. Didn’t need a ticket.

Way too much time between introductions and playing basketball. Talk, talk, talk...

UKgrad22 · Oct 2, 2026

Love watching shooting drills and all the quirky fan contests…

And the worse thing is they‘re Not even talking about actual meaningful basketball conversation.

TFCat11 · Oct 2, 2026

Hard to tell, but is the upper level completely empty? Is that normal? I always thought BBM was nearly packed.

TheBlueCat · Oct 2, 2026

Women's team has some snipers, and a top 10 pick from 2025 to go along with the returner's. Great job building a roster by Kenny!

Yeah they should be tough. FF contender

Kantucke_rivals · Oct 2, 2026

I really only watched for the blue white game, could get somewhat of an idea the talent level of each player. Just going to pass this year, may just watch the highlights on YT

Would like to see that but unfortunately they don’t have the big thick post players that play bully ball.

ComebackCats98 · Oct 2, 2026

Almost 1:20 into the 2 hour event and no men’s team yet. Is that normal? I can’t remember if it has been like that in past years.

Also no blue vs white game this year after BBM. Will be an open practice instead

Can’t afford another injury like Lowe last year

Just joining in. Anyone hurt yet?

Supposedly sold out in 20 minutes. Maybe they didn’t offer the upper deck? Haven’t really shown the whole crowd, so hard to tell.

KYAnywhereEverywhere · Oct 2, 2026

Little surprised to hear Jon Hood on the broadcast crew. Seems like his time here ended on a sour note.

Also, this **** is boring or stale at least. Also, also, the filming sucked during the cheer competition. Like the guy choosing camera angles is absolutely consumed by ADHD.

P. Fanning · Oct 2, 2026

The board is already in midseason form with all of the whining/complaining! It's like Old Faithful!

UKgrad22 · Oct 2, 2026

Love that Mason and Mo came out together

Anon520599 · Oct 2, 2026

JwUKFan11 · Oct 2, 2026

Jerone can't even walk down stairs. Bigger injury than they are letting on.

true-blue1 · Oct 2, 2026

Sound system is horrible

OldScratchBlues · Oct 2, 2026

I've seen decades of Midnight madness/Big Blue madness. Least hyped I've ever been. Don't know if it's the production, same ole show or what?

A lot of those tickets got scooped up by bots and are being scalped for profit.

Imagine having a stick up your behind that won't dislodge. Gotta be tough.

TheBlueCat · Oct 2, 2026

Always good to see KAT

RobEStacy · Oct 2, 2026

It's Dark Pope!!

Starrcade · Oct 2, 2026

Pope has that Justin Timberlake look going on, lol. Like it a lot better than the shaved bald head.

RobEStacy · Oct 2, 2026

Kinda Suprised at the lack of posts... Seems like people have just checked out for basketball...

The dumb myth growith. They go where they are guaranteed as much playing time as they are promised and/or the easiest route and most money. Total nonsense about guys not liking him. Gibberish.

Are they even gonna have a slam dunk contest? lol

Can any of these actually dunk? Other than Moreno if he's standing right below the basket?

Tubby in the house!!

gbl97 · Oct 2, 2026

I like how they've told Pope he needs to wear leather and try to look like a badass. Trying to overcome the dorky reputation.
