Yeah, there’s a good case for it but a win this weekend wouldn’t even put us there imo. The AP poll has no longer has any credibility, just way too many voters. There was a guy who actually moved Miss State up eight spots this past weekend after they were throttled by bama.

If we do happen to beat LSU this weekend, if we’re not #15-17 I know a bunch of mad Kentucky fans are going to raise helll.

Hes really come a long way. Im proud of him. Didn't feed any trolls last night one time. He's really growing right in front of us. So proud of my big boy. I knew eventually he would get it. Playoff rankings are all that matters anuways. If we are 6 and 2 going into tn game we will be ranked n that first poll.

Im just giddy that we're 4-1. We would be at best 3-2 with Stoops and all but maybe 20 other coaches out there. So I could care less about the AP poll this year. Im just happy we seemingly have a top20-15 type of coach (and maybe better).

There seems to be a Big 12 bias in the polls. Any team in that conference would struggle to win 6 games in the SEC.
The Big 10 appears to be down despite all the chest thumping from that crowd lately. Penn St and Oregon are not that good and the media is trying hard to prop up Michigan and Nebraska as viable- when everyone knows with a tough schedule these teams would lose a lot.
I do believe 3-4 SEC teams would beat Texas right now.

People keep saying A&M isn't a good win, but if they had beat us, they would still be ranked at 4-1 so the only thing that makes that not a 'good' win is us beating them.

We have our work cut out for us this weekend but I think we can make this a tight game. Impressive so far in what Stein is doing. He has swag and his players feed off of it.

Didn't realize:
1) We lead college football in defensive pressures. Now we just need to corral the opposing qb and get off the field on 3rd down.
2) Minchey is the top rated qb in the red zone.
3) Our right guard is ranked number 1 in football right now for all right guards.

No doubt we have tough games ahead but its been a great ride so far. Think our offensive line may be the difference this Saturday. We have some monsters on our o line.

Yep and the other thing is they really fail to define exactly "not a good win".

Let's say Texas AM was overrated..........it's still a win ........in dominating fashion........on the road against a strong SEC team.

I think any win on the road in the sec is a good win. Sometimes you win ugly but I'll still take it.

Yes, but I don't actually think the A&M win was ugly. It was beautiful. I thought we actually dominated them after halftime. Something I am not used to seeing on the road in SEC.

It's really gotten about too weird for me. It's like those that say we suck or spam the board with insanity are a protected species and if you say the sky isn't falling, you get attacked with no help available to you. Crazy.

I think the mods do a pretty good job as best they can but when they ban these people they just start a new anonymous account over and over.

I agree and wasn't implying the a&m win was ugly. About the best 3rd quarter I have ever seen by a team. Just meant I will take a road win anytime even if it's ugly .

There truly is no reasonable justification for not having UK ranked much higher given the competition and known results of the current season which is what this is supposed to be about.

I think Heather Dinich has UK 17th n her unofficial playoff top 25 if it was released today. I think thats fair and makes more sense than these meaningless ap and coaches polls.

This place has mods? Maybe someone should inform the mods that they are mods. If mods actually exist on here, they should be visible and available at the very least. A list of mods or a report button would help. I saw it said on here that there are routes that still have a report button but I don't know if that is phone, a certain browser or what. I don't have the report button either. I get no popups using the Brave browser. Hope that helps you if you choose to go that route.
