The truth is that SCar's stats in several areas were/are pretty good. They just didn't finish games well. They were probably a bit better than their record before we beat them.

Just odd, though that FL has totally shat the bed after steamrolling Ole Miss.

Edit: On second thought, I realize that Brad White is the DC. That explains a lot.

Always knew this wasn't going to work. Said day 1 Will Stein is the better hire, was obvious. Sunbelt Sumrall with his anti-Sunbelt Billy routine, acting like a tough guy drooling over the Florida fanbase trying to get them to accept him. Sht became so cringe.

That's a GD Kentucky football staff at florida. Brad White? I couldn't stand the guy. Florida fans deserve this Trainwreck coming and Sunbelt Sumrall can suck on this for life. He would have been a big time UK lifer but instead decided chasing that nonsense hit or miss program Florida and begging them to accept him. Couldn't happen for a better person as far as I'm concerned.

I've got him fired middle of year 3. As Ive said Florida isn't looking for good. They're looking for titles. And they want them now, it's a delusional fanbase. That was the worst place for him to go, period. And it's not going to work out. But he's allowed to come back and do the Y at Kentucky basketball games when he's ran out.

Sc with a huge stop. They should hold on. Atrocious and unacceptable loss for florida.

I feel like with 9 conference games sec will continue to cannabalize itself more and more.

So 24 team playoff only helps the sec if and when passed.

He beat a garbage ole miss team who was hyped for LSU. They were without their best player too. That's his claim to fame.

I want his *** scorched. Wait until half of that fanbase who barely pays attention and thinks the're entitled to championships for some reason wakes up and notices they've got a Mark Stoops staff 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I hate to say I told you that UF was not good and everyone needed to see them play a real defense before they became crowned King of Anything... Well it's Official. They SUCK! I wonder how sick to his stomach he will be today lol. Get REKD Gator goons!

Reality is Florida lucked out with Spurrier, one of their former players, turning into one of the greatest college football coaches of all time in the 90s and then hiring Meyer, who also turned out to be one of the greatest coaches of all time in the 00s, but outside of that? It’s not been great for them. Their luck has kind of run out. They have money, but can they compete with the prestige of other top schools SEC schools? I mean it was clear that Lane Kiffin had a choice between LSU and Florida and he took the LSU job. They’ll always be a second tier job for most potential coaches.

And that includes their basketball program being just as lucky with Donovan and then Golden. But who the hell would want that job after that? Where’s the prestige? It might not matter as much in the NIL era, but I think coaches of all sports still venerate it.

Hate to say it because I still like coach Sumrall but he appears to be a fraud. No way Florida should be getting blown out at home against South Carolina. UK really made the right decision with coach Stein. The program really needed a a progressive and offensive minded coach.

To think they dropped us from the rankings for “barely beating South Carolina”.
I would venture to guess Florida still remains in the top 25. Anywhere from 23-25. Uk will have to win tonight to get back in but a win should push them close to top 15 in the 17-18 range at least. UK beats South Carolina (South Carolina’s not very good). South Carolina steamrolls Florida (guess Florida not as good as we thought). UK leads bama at half ( yeah but bama steamrolled UK the 2nd half. UK struggled against S Alabama the first half (UK not very good). The beat rolls on.

I don't want to wish any bad luck on Jon Sumrall, but the best thing that could happen for us is if he falls flat on his face at Florida. For one, we don't need Florida becoming a national power again. And two, we don't need to have a "we could have had Jon Sumrall" cloud hanging over our heads going forward. I believe UK made a much better hire than Florida did.

I did not see South Carolina bending Florida over like that. Florida looks like crap all the sudden.

Our SC win does indeed look better.

The big reason Kiffin passed on Florida was they wanted him to have a different GM. Lane wanted his own guy. I think Flordia will turn it around. They need a qb. They're one dimensional

Sumrall had to do what was best for himself and took the Florida job when he did. He did not want to wait around on Mitch who was waiting to see if Stoops could squeeze out a sixth win and go to the butthole bowl. In the end it worked out better for us ironically because Mitch was so bad at his job.
