That moment in OT, when Stein calmly and deliberately held up 2 fingers….it was like Babe Ruth at the plate, bottom of the 9th with 2 outs in a tied game…pointing to the center field cheap seats. An iconic moment in UK football history.

If we lost the overtime coin toss, had the ball first and scored, would Stein have gone for 2 points ??
I cannot help but wonder ????

I doubt it. I think it only makes sense to go for it when you go second and can end the game. Going for it and getting it if you go first might not even win it for you.

Yes, if you have the ball first and score TD, kick extra point and go for two when you get ball second in 2nd OT.

There were probably more peace signs in the stands at that moment than there were at Woodstock.
