UALR has 25 points in 25 minutes.

much will be said about the offense, but I’m liking what I see on defense.

Honestly still my bigger concern. I feel like we have wayyyy too much ability on the offensive end for us to be a bad offensive team. Hell, for us to be a not elite scoring team. I think the points are going to come.

I could see this being first game jitters. That’s what i’m going to tell myself till they show me it’s not.

Please don’t show me it’s not.

Unfortunately, I see a poorly coached team. Top half of the SEC, and a few non conference teams are going to clown suit these guys if Pope doesn’t define some roles, and run some actual offensive schemes!

Mitchell would have make a huge difference. I could see this bunch developing into a fine team by SEC play. Good effort, unselfish, just not knocking down some open shots.

Lots of folks did. Completely unwarranted, especially given the situation he was put in. Diallo is DA minus DAs defense.

He was *** early on, kinda like Zoom is right now. Pope wont get credit for developing DA, but maybe Zoom will be as good as DA ended up being.

Williams looking more like a Jr running back than freshman pg.

Get him a flight Stillwater Oklahoma after the game.

Looks like an old big east guard that you didn’t want to come across in March.

Have needed that type of thicker guard who can body people, take contact, deliver contact.

I get it’s an exhibition. But you can’t honestly watch these dudes move and play and be encouraged, right. They’re going to need to shoot 50% from 3 to beat any team with a pulse.

Maybe the most concerning thing to me, if these teams wore masks and generic uniforms you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between and SEC team and whatever the hell conference ULR plays in.

It amazes when he and others play "Superfan" and childishly bash others when others make realistic observations that they don't like to read. Oooof

Pope needs to back off on the "shoot every open 3" stuff. It really needs to be in the concept if the offense. You can't just chuck up shots the way Wilkins is. He looks like Jasper Johnson out there tonight.

Isn’t that the truth. I like shooting 3’s but they should be in the flow of the offense and off good passes. This catch and shoot just because isn’t working.
