I don't know how to explain it. For the first time, possibly ever, I am legit nervous about our football game today. It feels like there is a lot at stake. Not a rivalry, not to get to a bowl game...something bigger. If we win today, we are legit top 10 and it feels as if the sky is the limit.

The implications of this game are dizzying. Will Stein and Kentucky have been the talk of college football all week. It doesn't seem real or possible.

Winning this game and beating Vanderbilt in Lexington next week would put Kentucky in the national spotlight for 4 straight weeks. Can you even imagine being 7-1, Top-10 and bound for the playoffs going into the Tennessee game?

I don't want this Oklahoma game to wake me up from this dream.

Nah. We’re playing with house money man. We were only predicted to win five games if that. There’s no reason to be nervous. Just enjoy the ride there’s no pressure here.

If it ends up a defensive game, then I don’t like our chances. Offensive has to overcome their great defense.

I agree. My nervousness has switched from wanting to win every basketball game to winning every football game.

I never thought in my lifetime that would happen. Now I get a feeling of “whatever happens, happens” with basketball. I kinda hate it to be honest. But I absolutely love the rush for football now.

It is a different feel entirely for a regular season game at this stage to be seeing happen. Hugely anticipated. Even by a lot of people that's just curious to see how well Kentucky has done. They are definitely surprising everyone. But ywe just gotta' shut that out of our mind.

It's about getting better ech game, every practice. Leawrning not to do dumb stuff on or off the field, stay focused and keep putting the hard work in.

I really hope they can somehow come out of Norman with the win. It's a huge mountain to climb. This is another step, and they must learn to overcome. They're learning. A long way to go, but we are getting there with every win.

Just win this game. Nothing else matters. Focus and put maximum energy, effort, hustle, and out-execute them. Want this win more than they do and go out and get it.

Execute execute execute. Do it successfully in all 3 phases of the game.

We can do this, we are proving it, getting better each game. It sure is fun to watch!

Yep, until 1990 there were several. It consolidated to two. Then, in 2009, in became one big school.

My wife and I run a dipped strawberry truck. It's called Maggie Mae's Berry Bar. We usually set up at the bottom of town hill.

Kentucky's win over LSU is looking better since they just beat the #16 team 31-0 and Oklahoma's win over Texas isn't looking as good since Texas just lost to Florida.

By the way the Texas coach took a field goal from inside the 10 yard line down 6 with just over 4 minutes left; they lost by 3.

This is an incredibly important game for us. From recruiting to the slight possibility of the CFP. According to one of the computer CFP possibilities, if we win today we're up to about a 20% chance.

We need to win this. OK isnt very good. They even lost to Michigan. We can do this.
