Would have been a great addition but what an absolute joke college basketball has become.
Kansas adds Trey Kaufman Renn
- Thread starter Prince is STILL KING!
- Start date
He was in the same recruiting class as TyTy Washington. LOL
I don't see how he is eligible. He redshirted in 21/22. That's his 5th year. So he can't fall under the 5 in 5 lawsuits.
Then he played 4 full seasons so he can't get eligible under the old rules ala Kepnang.
Then he played 4 full seasons so he can't get eligible under the old rules ala Kepnang.
That's not really the problem (for instance, Kepnang was in Brandon Boston's class. It's the 5 in 5 rule and trying to squeeze in a redshirt year to make it 6 in 5.

Didn’t realize that they played already. BTW you sound a lot like UKgrad24, are you one and the same? Maybe we need a poll on that question.
they can have that distraction. Having 3 of your main guys getting ruled ineligible at some point can’t end well.
Wondering how he got enrolled in time to attend classes to remain eligible.
Haven't you heard? The Nostradufas panel has already seen every game. It’s over before it even starts!
with noah and morton hurt.....pope how has his 2026 excuse all lined upMeanwhile Mark Pope is talking about Trent Noah
He’s apparently been enrolled just waiting for eligibility papers and a spot to clear. They had someone who is hurt get ruled out for year opening a spot I read.
That “all 3 players using a court injunction for Kansas have been officially ruled ineligible” notification is gonna hit like crack
Yeah he’s not going to play. He already had a redshirt year and four years of play.
self/ku should get the same treatment the media gave to wade/lsu....but they wont.
At an ELITE levelMeanwhile Mark Pope is talking about Trent Noah
We have three guards, can you imagine when one of those inevitably gets hurt.
THEY ARE IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know. It’s just crazy to me because it feels like TyTy’s been gone for a decade.
How does he take the spot of a freshman that has an season ending injury? That makes no sense.
Absolutely. Rolling the dice on one makes sense but 3 can really trash the season if they are ruled ineligible. Self is probably close to hanging it up so he probably is ok with that scenario and the upside is maybe a FF on his way out the door.
Its Kansas brother. They can gloss over felons so getting a extra year for their guys is child's play for them lol.
his cousin is a freshman on the women's team. makes sense that he ends up there. even if he's not eligible, still has family and can be there for her as she adjusts. that family is full of ball players, Matt Renn was a dog at Indiana State years ago.
The Big 12 issued this statement back in the summer. Wonder if they’ll stick to their guns?

Kansas is gonna beat the dog piss out of us. Normally I’d be mad as hell but I’m welcoming it. The only thing I don’t like is Stokes getting the win over us.
That won’t happen until the day after they drag their nuts back and forth over Popes face for 2 hours and win by 30+.
I fully expect this to be a payback game for the 2015 game.
They can sign whoever they want and the BXII commish will not step in. Sankey...on the other hand...
No. Morg at least makes coherent arguments plus the condescending tone. This guy is just a dumb ***
