Spot on.They're of the same mindset as Germans who were early devotees of Hitler. They're prone to irrational dedication to a person/thing and they're easily victimized by propaganda.
which "maggots" do you think favor Russia over ukraine? Please advise.
The ones who are devoted to trump and the make america great again movement.which "maggots" do you think favor Russia over ukraine?
well, I asked the question because I thought you had some specific people in mind..I don't think most Americans or "maggots" have a "favorite" in this war. Most just want to see it end.The ones who are devoted to trump and the make america great again movement.
Incorrect. Most normal Americans would like to see Russia leave Ukraine, and the war would be over. Most normal Americans don't view our known enemies AND allies in the same light.well, I asked the question because I thought you had some specific people in mind..I don't think most Americans or "maggots" have a "favorite" in this war. The entire episode with Russia, diesel, and sanctions is a head scratcher. As I've said before, I think Trump is weary of this war and wants it over. The only "rational" concept I can figure is that trump believes Zalensky (Ukraine needs a new president) is the problem and is attempting to pressure him to make a deal....but, I have no more info than anybody else. The Wall Street Journal editorial titled “To Russia with Love, signed Donald” criticized President Donald Trump for waiving major economic and energy sanctions against Russia just weeks after signing the bipartisan Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act of 2026 into law.
Key Details of the Editorial and Backlash
- The Action: President Trump moved to set aside or waive newly enacted sanctions and tariff authorities targeting Russia’s oil, defense, and shadow tanker fleet.
- The Journal's Stance: The Wall Street Journal Opinion board condemned the waiver, describing Trump's assistance to Vladimir Putin as growing by the day and calling the move a betrayal of the legacy of the late Senator Lindsey Graham.
- Congressional Reaction: GOP Senator Bill Cassidy amplified the editorial, writing on social media that both Ronald Reagan and Lindsey Graham would be ashamed of Trump's decision to ease pressure on Moscow.
I mean, at no point has either side not wanted a deal. If Russia would agree to all of Ukraine’s demands, they would sign today. And vice versa. Of course Russia wants to end the war, in such a way that they get Ukrainian land etc. Obviously the victim in this situation is not willing to give in to the bully. But I don’t think anyone should be surprised that Trump would join the bully. The entire episode with Russia, diesel, and sanctions is a head scratcher. EDIT: Just read the WP this morning and there's another trump statement where he claims Ukraine is standing in the way of peace.... that Russia wants to make a deal to end the war......don't shoot the messenger...just regurgitating the WP story
We’ve seen this story before… an authoritarian leader invades a sovereign nation, justifies territorial expansion through nationalism and historical grievances, and bets that the democratic world lacks the resolve to stop him. The lesson of the 1930s is that appeasing aggressive dictators rarely produces lasting peace. It often emboldens them, making the eventual cost of confrontation far greater.I prefer the US over both of them. Unfortunately we seem to be wasting money on both of them.
Russia at least has supplies we COULD use, what does Ukraine do for our country financially?
This thread is gross. I am ashamed for all you people that think Ukraine should yield. I would never want to be in a fox hole with any of you. I hope Ukraine continues to inflict maximum damage on the Russian aggressor both in taking lives and in causing economic harm.
SMH, we shouldn't want or take anything from Russia that helps them prop up their war machine and have you already forgotten that Zelensky imediately agreed to Trump's demand that they give us access to their rare earth minerals?I prefer the US over both of them. Unfortunately we seem to be wasting money on both of them.

Agreed. Thank god people like trump, @baltimorened and @TigerGrowls were not in charge during WW2. “Just let Hitler have France!

Ok let them keep fighting!!!Agreed. Thank god people like trump, @baltimorened and @TigerGrowls were not in charge during WW2. “Just let Hitler have France!
Should we reward Russia for targeting civilians in the streets of Kyiv or should ALL the pressure be on the aggressor?Ever been in a foxhole?
Ok let them keep fighting!!!
No, but not sure what that has to do with not wanting to be in one with complacent cowards.Ever been in a foxhole?
Because we haven't given them the support we originally promised.Once again Ukraine has not been able to take back any meaningful amount of the land back from Russia since this fiasco started. No meaningful progress. They are not taking it back.
Should we reward Russia for targeting civilians in the streets of Kyiv or should ALL the pressure be on the aggressor?
well, it just seems to me that people who have never been in a combat situation, and likely never will be, are somehow more inclined to have others engage in combat. It all looks so glamerous on TV and in the movies...it's not!No, but not sure what that has to do with not wanting to be in one with complacent cowards.
Never said I wanted to go to war. Here, let me fix it for you: I would not want to be in any situation where my well being is or might be tangentially related to any of these clowns and their intestinal fortitude and moral compass. Or more accurately, lack of both.well, it just seems to me that people who have never been in a combat situation, and likely never will be, are somehow more inclined to have others engage in combat. But as I posted I"ve evolved...I agree with you let the Ukranians and Russians fight until they're finished
There’s no way we could just like, keep our word and let them better defend themselves? You don’t like dpic and other libs and think they go overboard. We get it. But I don’t understand this clearly sarcastic response to all those civilian deaths that are a pretty linear line directly to us removing or throttling starlink. Which isn’t munitions. It’s just access. This flippancy is ridiculous.I've "evolved"...I see it your way...let them fight to the death...no giving up land, no ceasefire...
never intimated that it was you...but you don't seem to have much of a problem with Ukranians - military or civilian - being killed in a war that is going nowhere....Never said I wanted to go to war. Here, let me fix it for you: I would not want to be in any situation where my well being is or might be tangentially related to any of these clowns and their intestinal fortitude and moral compass. I would have thought you would would be pleased that I've seen the light. I'm not being flippant about civilian deaths, those deaths are a result of a war you guys (collective) are encouraging to continue...the starlink thing is a red herring unless you want to take a position that there were no deaths of civilians before the one or two day cutoff of starlink...or no deaths after return of starlink. There’s no way we could just like, keep our word and let them better defend themselves? Do you not see that Putin and Trump are the problem with Ukraine.I would have thought you would would be pleased that I've seen the light. I don't understand what you or any of the others would be upset with my now agreeing 100% with your previous positions...you (collective) have posted...no land give up to the Russians, send in US ground forces, give Ukranians Patriot interceptors at the expense of defense of US forces...
Do I have any of that wrong?? That's been the position of a lot of you...Of course, in following those positions, you have US forces killed, more expenditures of US munition inventory (another past complaint), oh and more civiilan deaths... and don't forget more military deaths as well...i don't think my projection of future outcomes based on what the folks on here are encouraging is too far out of reality.
Have I gotten anything that posters on here have called for wrong? Is it being sarcastic to point out the obvious?
absolutely, trump should bow out and let Russia - ukranie figure it out themselves. They were doing a great job of negotiations before trump was elected.Do you not see that Putin and Trump are the problem with Ukraine.

It’s pretty clear you don’t agree and don’t think people who disagree with you are reasonable or something and so you’re just trying something new. You’re being disingenuous and you know you are.
