Hire Diaz and I'll take a vacation from the program.
Don't know the other guy.
The other guy is 43 and has Wake Forest rolling. Love his mindset. He'd be the coach I would want the most.

Won 9 games at Wake in Year 1 and is 6-1 right now and will be favored the rest of the way (road game at SMU could be tricky), so they are a real playoff threat. Currently No. 14 in the polls. Beat Lebby's *** last year in the bowl game.

What is this fascination with bringing back people that chose not to be here (twice already in Diaz's case)? What's Sylvester Croom doing these days? Why not give ol Sly a shot at redemption? Hell, he probably couldn't do worse than he did the first go around or what we're getting from Lebby.
*****Before any of you smartasses answer, the Croom questions are rhetorical..Kinda.

Dickert is 1A or 1B on my list along with Jason Eck..

I’m a lot more eh on Manny. I think he’s a solid floor / limited ceiling coach. Would easily be our best coach since Leach, though.

Coaches I think we could get in order of preference

1. Jake Dickert, Wake Forest
2. Rhett Lashlee, SMU
3. Manny Diaz, Duke
4. Jason Eck, New Mexico
5. Jason Candle, Connecticut
6. Charles Huff, Memphis
7. Glenn Schumman, Georgia defensive coordinator

Just like the previous search that ended with Lebby, you can scratch most of these due to not having an interest in the job.

Bo doesn't know anything. He's filling radio time.

The better question is why would a coach at bottom tier pay and resources in the ACC move to the SEC for a program with bottom tier pay and resources? Until we elevate the total package here to get to mid pack, continue to expect rolling the dice on unproven coordinators (maybe young HCs at small conference programs) looking for a good raise and an opportunity to prove themselves and jump. Maybe you get a Mullen? Maybe you get a Moorhead?

We got lucky with an extenuating circumstance with Leach simply loving the rural underdog scenario. Are there other guys like that out there? If we don't intend to elevate the resources available to a coaching staff, then we better find the odd ball out there that wants the role we fill or get comfy hiring the untested.

If Dickert wants our job, then you fire heavy Lebby today. You then make sure KT knows he can name his price, and that we wanted to get him a real coach.

Correct. Tell KT we want him to stay and tell him we are shoving all the chips in next year with him and players in the portal for him. We have already squandered this year, you can't let next year slip away like we did in 2018 due to dumbass coaching

Lashlee isn’t leaving SMU
Add Lance Taylor at WMU remove Rhett
Remove Huff I think he takes Maryland job
No to a DC or OC hire
Napier has JMU rolling
Chadwell at Liberty
Lots of good options when we make a move

Nc state probably leaning toward rivers
Baylor Taylor probably
Maryland Huff.
we coukd possibly hire Dickert Diaz Eck it’s not a forgone conclusion that we couldn’t

Maybe we should take a look back at Moorhead. 100% winning percentage in the Egg Bowl. Think about it.

It’s a hard 17 no to Diaz and Huff

go strong after Bob Chesney. Then work down the list. But I’m out with Diaz and Huff
What’s the issues on Diaz. It’s one thing to leave because your the DC so let’s not act like he was the HC
After his roster got liquidated this offseason he’s 5-2 this year

Napier and Chadwell would be so bad and you'd see Kamario take off fast
