Why is he not as aggressive as he was last go round ?? Is Lebby restraining him from releasing the hounds ? Lebby said we ddidn't have the personnel to blitz but in my mind thats why you blitz. We have the corners. Maybe the safeties. We have no pass rush UNLESS we blitz. Let the dogs out. Damn the torpedoes.
Zach Arnett or Arnept

He is being aggressive. We’re just that bad we still can’t get pressure.
We been down two starting LBs, two DL, a Safety, Jones broke his hand and hasn't been the same and we didn't have much talent anyway. Jeff Lebby and his staff are miserable recruiters
There are so many holes with the roster management of this team that it’s impossible for me to know where to point fingers other than at Lebby
OL, QB, DL, LB, safeties, and backup RBs aside, WTF happened to Pulliam?

Well ya know if we had good DL and Edge maybe we wouldn't need to blitz. Idk. Disappointing turn of events with this rash of injuries. Depth was never our strong suit.
Yeah, but not only was it not a strong suit. It’s more like this entire season was built on a house of cards.
One solitary injury on either side of the ball, and we were going to be cooked. I genuinely cannot believe that Lebby came into the season with this ridiculous lack of depth at so many key positions
Welcome to the world of NIL. Do you try to spend with the big boys on starters, or spend 70% of what the big boys do so you can spend 30% on backups? We don’t have the funds they do. So we have to cut somewhere.
And ZA keeps getting a pass...
I don't know what the obsession with this guys is.
Lebby has experienced some pretty significant injuries on the offense too, but we need to fire him immediately because it's obviously his fault.
We have the worst defense in the league, but we all believe in ZA. Ridiculous.

Remember that Ole Miss best defensive lineman was a starting Offensive Lineman for them 2 years ago. Maybe we need to switch out our Dline and Oline. Hmmmmm
We are thin on the DLine. If we blitz too much on the outside we will get gashed up the middle. NIL spreads the talent around and results in parity. Not many teams could have sustained on defense with the injuries we have. Not to mention, Arnett has only recruited for half a recruiting season. Yeah I know some of the older players were recruited by him but I’d hate to be him with the holes we have. I do however, believe he should show a little more creativity in blitzing.
Our coaching staff watching Texas put us over the barrel tomorrow.
How is this any different for Lebby? Change the word defense to offense and it's the exact same situation. Hell, it's probably worse especially losing the best player in college football. Yet Lebby given no slack ?
Yeah Wyatt mentioned in his video that it's a personnel issue. In other words, Lebby and his boys have no idea how to recruit and navigate this NIL wilderness.
All fingers point to Lebby, there’s no getting around it. If for no other reason, he is the head coach. When it comes to roster building he either got a lot of bad advice or he doesn’t know what he is doing. Either way it’s his fault.
We have may that we were counting on hurt. I noticed at the game that those who are playing are still playing hard and we are seeing more players joining the effort who were not playing earlier. Zach Arnett will be fine when he can sign a class and work in the portal next year. I am not in the critical crowd like some of you.
The difference is ZA had no control over depth. He didn't recruit this roster. We're a lot better on defense with all the injured starters back.
In year 3, Lebby is where the buck stops. He built this thin roster. Upper middle of the pack SEC if healthy, but huge drop-off from there.
I think the biggest part of it is having to be on the field every 2-2.5 minutes and the offense taking 70-80 snaps a game. It’s tough to go balls to the wall without a reliable 2 deep at every level.
Not that I am giving him a pass for how atrocious our pass defense is, but that’s the main reason I can think of for why Arnett isn’t sending more than 5 every play
