Budd Clark played Jaseem Felton on opening night. Both players started. Budd got th every of him 17 & 6, Felton scored 6.

Simpkins had 15, 5, 5 off the bench in 32 mins.

Hines who didn’t start a single game for seton hall, started in his debut for UConn. 12 & 12 for the big man.

Mike Williams had 7 & 2 off the bench for Tulsa.

Payne did not play for New Mexico St. Not sure if he is eligible or what

Seton75 · 2026-11-04T08:43:22-0600

Is this really needed.

hallmatt · 2026-11-04T08:53:56-0600

If you don’t want to follow other players, don’t read or comment. Pretty simple, no?

Piratz · 2026-11-04T08:57:42-0600

I guess is another question of competition level too? Like the critiques of our game.

We’ll see where it ends up.

Yeah, that is simple. But I dont want it on Seton Hall basketball forum. Here we should talk of SHU HOOPS. I dont run this board, but I have an opinion. To me your post is an insult to the team and staff.

You can do what you want. And I will say what I want.

PirateBlue08 · 2026-11-04T09:59:12-0600

Most surprising of all the stats is Hines staying out of foul trouble.

HallBall55 · 2026-11-04T10:17:43-0600

So Mike Williams had 7 points off bench for Tulsa meanwhile you said yesterday he’d “easily start on this team”

Uhhh did you see the stats of Del Jones? Wilcher? Parker? Petro?

He also started every game last year except 2. Fisher was by far the worst starter last year and he won the job back and came back to campus Sept 8 lol

PirateBlue08 · 2026-11-04T10:45:31-0600

Our former starting 2 guard coming off the bench for Tulsais a bit of an embarrassment

If thats an argument then why sidnt del jones score against monmouth. Low competition as well

Hear you on that although I never really viewed him as a “starter” because I always viewed Simpkins as the better player. Even when Williams played well early and was being overhyped here, I thought it had a shelf life.

To be fair, I hope you jump on everyone who ever mentions Kevin Willard ever again in this boards future. You know, to be consistent and all.

Thanks, for posting this. I find it interesting and I hope you keep doing it. I am not the best when it comes to electronics. This saves me a lot of time.

And how many guys on this years team do you think end up starting on a power conference team next year. Not many. We are a competitive A-10 team cosplaying in the Big East

We’ve been down this road. You weren’t getting both Simpkins and Wilcher. We weren’t paying 1.5 for the Simp
