That is the headline of one of the articles currently linked above this message board. From what I can tell, his only takeaway is PSU cash money.

"Tyler who?"Hey Andy… OSU game… 1st and goal on the 3, you run 4 plays and Tyler Warren never sees the ball! I was done with you after that. Could care less about your opinion

Franklin gets blame here as well… he had a headset! “hey Andy… Warren gets 4 touches here. No way I am going to a post game pc and answer why we didn’t use 44!”“Tyler’s our best option, but they’re expecting that, so we won’t use him here. We’ll fool ‘em.”

What went wrong with Andy K? The Big 12 is a lot different than the B1G. He half two yrs to replicate his Kansas and Buffalo offenses but has gone the wrong direction. Why didn’t he insist on getting his kind of players? He’s rebuilding a bad rep from PSU now much like Yurcich. A dud against O$U and Indiana and he’ll be fired.
I usually defend coaches but in this case I’ve seen enough. AK gotta go.
Well goll-ly coach, could it be that your Three Stooges playbook doesn’t fool the big boys as much as it did Houston and Cincinnati?Yeah this isn’t a good look:
AK: “I don’t have a good explanation to why it is where it is.”
Football transcends across conferences, but you have to have the necessary football talent to run your scheme. Most coordinators seem to be inflexible on that front and would rather take two or three years to bring in players who can best play in their scheme rather than for the same time frame adapt their scheme to match their talent on the field. At this time PS has that problem on both sides of the ballWhat went wrong with Andy K? The Big 12 is a lot different than the B1G. Don't forget the game clinching int vs Oregon in the B1G Championship GameGame-clinching INT vs Notre Dame
Game-clinching INT vs Oregon
Game-clinching turnover on downs vs Northwestern
Oh sorry… I guess those are more AK giveaways than takeaways.

Thus the problem with coach self perceived long term security/vision vice the win now concept else lose your job. The long term security concept wont last past the donors and fans that want to win now. 2-3 years to get players to match your scheme?? is too long of a time frame it appears based on where the trends are heading. {Was 4 years really a realistic time line for Napier?}Football transcends across conferences, but you have to have the necessary football talent to run your scheme. His offenose works best when his QB is the best RB. He has no clue how to use a drop back passer offense. Franklin did poor due diligence. College football has changed forever and the Genie isn't going back in the bottle. Thus the problem with coach self perceived long term security/vision vice the win now concept else lose your job. 1) Players portal'ing every year
2) Fans donors now have more say on who stays and who goes
3) Coordinators moving on to move up the ladder to HC jobs
4) The really good players leaving early for the NFL
You will never have any continuity much less any team chemistry in any one year to speak of, so this really becomes more or a less a crapshoot as to what team will have certain factors all line up, via happenstance for the more optimal combination of those factors, than other teams do in any particular year.
Indiana seems to have things aligning for them this year
Isn't the average stay at a school as the HC about 5 years? So in that sense not much will actually change? Thus the problem with coach self perceived long term security/vision vice the win now concept else lose your job. Some of what Kraft laid out fits Rhule. He talked about fitting in at PSU and embracing the blue collar toughness or something like that. I am not advocating for Rhule but he does check some boxes and is a candidate. I think we can get a better candidate.College football has changed forever and the Genie isn't going back in the bottle.
Franklin is gone because he refused to use what was given to him. He also went over Kraft's head to the BOT to get a raise and wasn't the 1st time only this time blew it up in his face. He also did it to Sandy going to get his raise but glad she's gone too.
Kraft laid out what was needed by the next HC and that doesn't look anything like Rhule. The choice will obviously come from what has been the fan determined 2nd tier list and I'm just fine with that because there are some on that list who are great in their own right just not at a Blue Blood University yet.
Let's get it done so we can move on and forward to better things.
It will change if fan bases and donors are not winning as soon as they like, it will be a shorter leash for sure... Napier was 4 years right? can you honestly expect a winner in under 4 years after you change a coach? Florida does expect one, apparentlyIsn't the average stay at a school as the HC about 5 years? Indiana has upped their win totals 2 yrs in a row after a new HC.It will change if fan bases and donors are not winning as soon as they like, it will be a shorter leash for sure... winner being defined as (getting to a Playoffs/Natty if all resources are available to you per krafty's manifesto)
What if PSU doesn't sniff playoffs after 4 years of hire-- will that be acceptable to the donors what is the actual timeline to get 'it' done what ever "it" is?
does getting to the playoffs buy you time?
does getting the natty game buy you time?
presumably winning a Natty buys you time

There was no place to go but up after going 3-9, 4-8 and 2-10 the previous 3 years under AllenIndiana has upped their win totals 2 yrs in a row after a new HC.
And the players he has -he worked with at JMU so his players are 3 years into his system. So his team continuity is more cohesive than other teams. So they clearly have some factors other teams don’t working in their favor. There
