Mexican Spanish and Spanish Spanish ain't the same. It's amazing how much slang they worked into the Mexican version.
When I first graduated from State, I was a production supervisor at a Tyson Plant. I had four semesters of Spanish, so I got stuck with all the Spanish speaking people. Every South American Country had different slang. Most of them were not from Mexico. It was a pain in the butt trying to figure out. I had two professors for the four classes. Both were from Spain. Both were calling Dr. Lopez. Husband and wife.
Oh yeah Mexican Spanish is its own animal. There’s slang and a lot of shortening of phrases (almost like a contraction in English).

Interesting to see Reggie Theus is both the basketball coach and the AD for Bethune Cookman. Here’s something you didn’t know about Reggie: Theus is one of only two players in league history listed at 6 ft 6 or taller to tally more than 750 assists in an NBA season. The other is Magic Johnson.
They tend to play to the level of their competition. Get a little complacent
Why do scrubs look like tournament teams when we play them? First PV A&M and now a 3-9 division 42 (or something) team.
3rd game in a row where we’ve struggled vs a bad team. In the middle of that we blew out Memphis on the road. I hope we turn it on and don’t let these guys hang around, keep playing with fire you get burned yada yada. It would be disastrous.
I have a feeling the second half will be big for us. We are about to out athletic them and out hustle them with a deep bench. That is what makes this team different than most any team I've ever seen State put on the hardwood.
I'm going on a limb and say State doesn't cover that 28 point spread. Hope none of you guys lose your shirts.

Hubbard needs to get his feet under his shot from 3. He has too many shots floating sideways and it doesn't help that he is forced to create a quick shot as the shot clock runs down when he is playing point. I'm surprised his coaches aren't correcting this for him.
