Hopefully he'll give us a reason to give him a good raise in a couple of years.

.....have plenty of money left over to hire some outstanding coordinators and assistants. This seems to be set up very well.

I sent GB an email thanking him for doing his job, shooting big, etc. instead for a lack of a better term being Politically Correct. The sad thing is he is doing what he is suppose to do.

I was already satisfied with this hire to begin with. But to know that we're getting him at a savings of 1/2 a large over that lazy, piece of **** fatass; well, I'll tell you that makes my f'n snow day.

Give him the extra half mil. Offer him $750,000/yr to come be our DC. Would be worth every penny.
Seriously, all this talk about extra money to blow- and then we come in CHEAPER than we were under Croom. Unbelievable.

We're not being cheaper; we are being smarter. Mullen is a OC that hasn't proven anything as a HC. I think 1.2 million is quite a nice, reasonable offer. I think you will see State's money being put to good use once the OC, DC and other assistants are hired.

...here are some possibilities:

1. Winning Season +Bowl Bid= $XXXXXX
2. Winning Season+Major Bowl Bid= $XXXXXX
3. SEC West Championship+Major Bowl= $XXXXXX
4. SEC Championship+Major Bowl Bid= $XXXXXX
5. SEC Championship+National Championship Game= $1XXXXXX
6. National Championship= $2XXXXXX
7. No APR problems=$XXXXX
8. No Off Field Problems=$XXXXXX
9. Average over 45,000 per game for season attendance=$XXXXXX
10. Average over 50,000 per game for season attendance=$XXXXXX

There are incentive clauses in every contract these days, and this is probably one set of possible examples.

i think that salary is very appropriate. he's a first time head coach. But yeah, I'm willing to bet that he has an extra million in incentives laying around there somewhere

Not too high and not too low. We are not burden with a big buy out if he fails and we have bonus and raise money if he is great.

Outstanding on our part... I suspect that there is a agreement, whereby this will escalate...maybe even next year(probably).
