Hats off to Tyler Whitney. He pitched his *** off and kept us in it.

We are a prime example of why the stats against bunting aren't always right.

Lots of stranded runners. Couple of great defensive plays by Georgia. And besides that HR that Whitney gave up he pitched good enough for us to have a chance at a very good georgia team. Whitney had some good stuff tonight.

Tyler has continued to impress, I keep having to remind myself that this team is a year or two away from being really good. It is very evident that this team fights every game, they just need a few more gamers..

I think the key for us will be to get some solid hitting outfielders. Goforth is just not good. Hogue is having a tough year coming off the shoulder injury so he isnt up to par physically right now. With the number of pitching signees weve gotten, im not too worried about the future of our pitching staff. Whitney has played very well so far, and should prove to be a solid Friday starter. I think in 2 years this team should be guaranteed to make regionals for a very long time.

Yeah, losing tomorrow probably means a sweep because whoever we throw out Sunday will probably not pitch as well as Whitney did tonight, and how most of us expect Routt to pitch tomorrow. Sunday has been awful for us so far this year.
