1) If there were 68,000 fans there, as quoted by the Clarion-Ledger, then 40,000 of them were from MSU. But we don't travel well... I'd guess that Michigan had around 20,000 and the other 8,000 were locals.
2) Gator Bowl record for first half points.
3) Worst bowl loss in Michigan's history
4) Best bowl win in MSU's history
5) Diaz, Hevesy, and Balis are worth their own respective weights in gold. Diaz might be worth 1.5 times his weight in gold.
6) Dan Mullen is a 17'ing genius. That guy just gets it. He does absolutely everything right, from gameplanning, to politics, to his post-game speeches to the crowd, to fan unity, to the media, to being a players coach.... everything is done so perfectly in our program now. Is he a top 10 coach in the country yet?
7) I'm a little concerned next year when we have to replace KJ, Chris White, and McPhee... but I think we'll be fine. I think Diaz is smart enough to figure out something that works with the talent that we've got.
8) If our O-Line can come in next year and be half as good as the O-Line was at the end of this year, our offense is going to be really, really good.
9) Clark's Fishing Camp is awesome. If you ever go back, eat there and thank me later.
10) Dawg Pound Party >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> River City Brewing Company Alumni Association Party. Kudos to Red Umbrella for throwing that together so quickly and pulling off a great party.

I started to go to the Fishing Camp last night, but went back to Lulu's instead.

MSU has a ****-ton of hot bitches. Michigan didn't bring any, at all. And if I have to see another 17'ing leather letter jacket, I will throw up. If dressing for success is important, no wonder our automotive industry is terrible. There were lots of un-attractive Michigan sluts in gym shorts... WTF?

I will say this, I interacted with several Michigan fans throughout the game, and they were all very nice and friendly.

While all decent recruits those guys were coached up and put in a position to become the players they are. No way there isn't some drop off because of experience, but I think we actually have a coaching staff that teaches people how to be great football players! Shocking I know.

but I would even venture a debate towards if this one was bigger than 1941's, which is probably heresy on this board.

The Dawg Pound Party was something else. I was surprised at all the hot tail hangin around. Also Clarks fishing camp had some of the best hush puppies I have ever had.

obese state in the country. Michigan wears that crown now. I have NEVER seen so many obese fans in one place, must be the Brats.

I, along with all my friends, thought it was horrible and a huge rip off. Waiting 30 minutes for a drink (very weak drinks at that), could only get 1 at a time, food ran out. If I could go back in time, I wouldn't have even paid $5 for that party.

Other than that, everything else was incredible.

I had a blast there. Ran into a ton of old friends and caught up with lots of them. I had no trouble getting drinks, but that was because I was drinking beer and not mixed drinks. The beer carts were short and sweet.

I did brave the mixed drink line once (only about a 5 minute wait) and got two drinks. Not sure why you didn't get moreone. I did have a tip in hand prior to ordering, which may have played in that.

The Alumni Association party, by word of mouth, was shoulder-to-shoulder with 5$ beers and 30 minutes plus waits for drinks. I was very, very appreciative of the fact that the Dawg Pound Party was not oversold and overcrowded.

they said their rule was 1 drink at a time. I told him that was a ******** rule. That's what all inclusive means. You don't pay for ****. I shouldn't have to "tip" the guy to get an extra/stouter drink. It was a huge rip off. I definitely won't be returning next year. I'll gladly spend $90 at a bar.

I had a great time at the dawg pound party too. I had a couple beers and several mixed drinks and it didn't seem to take long for me to get the mixed drinks. I thought it was a great venue and well put together.

at the alumni party. I there were 3-4 bars in the place to get a drink. Not really enough to eat and the food was late getting there but it was a fun night overall. There was serious talent all over the place there!!! I truly envy you young guys in the 20 - 30 yr age bracket!!! State's pep band really got the place going and the music/dancing was a lot of fun. Fireworks were excellent from that vantage point as well.

We had an awesome time at the River City Brewing alumni party. When we showed up it was a lot of middle aged couples and what not, which was fine with me. I think they were more surprised by all of the college kids showing up than anything else. As the night went on it turned more and more into a younger crowd, but it was always crowded. Drinks only took a long time at a couple of the bars while most of them only took a few minutes. I spent $10 to get in and about $40 on drinks so not a bad deal. We also talked to a lot of people who went to the Dawg Pound Party and it was mostly a "Oh yeah, it was fun... a little overcrowded though" or "Yeah it was good but probably not worth what I paid".Not that it really matters because they were both two huge State parties and people were having fun. I would like to point out, though, that I did not, in fact, party with Ed Hardy but I did save 50 bucks.

I wouldn't say they brought none, you just had to look form them. I saw 3 that were pretty hot. A black haired girl that was taking pictures with the Boozing Bulldogs as I walked by, a dark red headed girl with a blue and yellow sun dress on, and one sitting 3 rows below me.

Let me add that this is by my standards. The older I get and the longer I'm married my standards broaden a little more.

If you really think that, you're going to be pissed off at every event like that you ever go to.

from Chris Relf .... if there is talent to be found and developed, this coaching staff def. knows how to do it
