If you don’t know who Robbie Faulk and Brian Hadad are and the fact that they cover Mississippi State sports for a living and have intimate knowledge of our sports programs and a great relationship with Charlie Winfield who runs our collective then you should really stop having such large opinions on the subject. Respectfully. Hadad is a radio host for the biggest statewide sports show in Mississippi. Faulk has worked for the Starkville daily and runs the On3 premium site and a member of the press.
You said, “It’s been reported by Hadad and Faulk that kids were turning down huge offers from us to go elsewhere for less.”
That is not what those screenshots indicate. Maybe it’s what you want to read between the lines. He talks about us losing recruiting battles, specifically a Hawaiian that wanted to stay close(er) to home (West Coast).
He also gives his opinion that lack of NIL money was not the problem. That isn’t reporting that players were turning us down to play elsewhere for less money.
The good news is if some people are right and we have plenty of NIL money that players turned down, I assume we banked that money and our new coach can use it to recruit the top players nationally, including Hawaii.
