Thanks Mutt, I've been trying to remember that restaurant's name which was on Hwy 12 in Starkvegas. Bonus points if you can remember the name of the steak place next to Danvers (70's). Seems like it was the Golden Trail but not sure. Both had great food.

A belly full of their rolls was the first thing I ever upchucked in Starkville. Rite of passage.

Ya know, if I'd actually had a choice of something to hurl in my college days, yeast rolls would probably be high on the list. I threw up some seriously gnarly **** back in the day. Good times...

I dated the daughter of one of 2 founders of danvers. His name was dannie love. He and a friend founded danvers at 20yrs old. And sold for a nice profit at 25. He took his cut and opened a 5* seafood joint in nashville in the early 80s but the $ wad too much. Long story short. By time i came around in 95' he was reduced to a paranoid alcoholic who my gf later found frozen to death on the streets of memphis while she was out on a 1st date. (After our relationship)

Wasn't Danvers the place that had the $1 roast beef sandwiches? Right close to sack and save. That was good cheap food.

Very sad story.

Is this his friend? Age math doesn't seem to work...
