very happy at 12-1. The 1 is a head scratcher but oh well it happens. Schedule gets much tougher now. Here's to the 1 staying there. If my calculations are right it's 2 OOC 16 SEC 3 SECTourney 6 NCAA. That's 39-1 National Champs. Go Dawgs!!

Man Deville sure sucked last night didn't he?

6 points on 3-6 shooting with 1 turnover and 3 assists in 17 minutes. Better night for him than his last 6 games or so.

How you can say that he is obviously not the pg of the future is just idiotic. He may be, he may not be, but for you to say this early after a couple of games that he isn't is just dumb. Just pointing out his good game to you.

You all know that Stands' MO is to lose to weak teams early and often through the 1st half of the season, then make a mid/late season push to "earn" NCAA bubble status.<div>
</div><div>This team hasn't done that. The team has taken care of business thoughout the 1st half of the season. We could be in for something really good.</div>

From the 00/01 through the 04/05 seasons, we only lost a total of6 non-conference regular season games in 5 seasons. I'm not checking each one, but I'm sure at least some of those 6 were quality losses.</p>

and in spite of what the Apologists think, his 1st 3 seasons count also. <div>
</div><div>So except for that period to start the 2000's- most of his tenure has included some bad losses that has killed us come March</div>

and that's why I posted his stats. He had 6 points and 3 assists. Considering this was his best game of the year so far I'd say that you are the idiot because you have told yourself he is great and will be our starting point guard next year. What has he done to deserve the starting job? He's had one nice dunk the entire season. He can't shoot for ****. Doubt me? Look at his stats then go throw up in the toilet. On top of being the worst statistical shooter that I can remember playing for MSU for considerable minutes he TURNS THE BALL OVER. This doesn't mean he can't improve but why is everyone so in love with him? Why is everyone fine with him being the starting PG? I'm not. I see a much worse shooting Gary Ervin all over again. I hope I'm wrong. I will be very happy to eat my words about Deville many times over but I doubt I am wrong. Reason? Because he isn't going to magically learn how to shoot.

Neither is anyone else on this board. The fact of the matter is you obviously hate him. He is not the starting point guard right now. We think he will be next year. He is going through some growing pains right now. That's good though. He is getting valuable experience right now and he is realizing that he cant do everything he did in high school. Im not saying he is for sure going to be the point guard (I think he will be), but you ARE saying that he is not. He's not even halfway through his freshman year and youve made that claim. That's whats idiotic. For every turnover he has, he shows a flash of brilliance. Is he ready to be the starting point guard right now? NO, THATS WHY HE ISN'T. Idiot.

I keep bringing it up? Are you starting to see the gaping hole next year if Deville isn't ready? I don't hate Deville. I like his speed and quickness of the bench when the other team is getting tired. I don't like him as the majority minutes point guard though because he can't shoot and he turns it over. I'd like their to be an option B for next year at the PG position and that option shouldn't be a signed starting true freshman either. I'd like to see Jalen Steele at that spot honestly.

In absence of anything sensible to contribute, you keep spouting this garbage just to get some attention.

You're like an ugly girl who keeps telling all the guys she's not wearing panties.

Steele would be a turnover machine at the 1. He s a shooting guard or a reason. Deville will be just fine, and he can shoot the ball, trust me. I've been watching him for three years, he as what it takes, just needs some time to adjust to the college game. You point guard really should not be one of your leading scorers, his job is to run the offense and get the ball to the other players so they can score... He also has had some medical issues, but I am hearing he is doing better now.. Merry Christmas.
