every-damn one of them... nothing worse than booking family vacations with kids that have to have tickets... every $50 is $200 out of my pocket and they [jointly] change the fares by the minute

Get this . 865$/ticket was the best my travel agent could find out of Meridian. These mofo's are robbing families during the vacation times. They are killing the destination resorts with these prices.

You're going to fly out of Meridian and ***** about the fees associated with that convenience?

Remember add taxes , parking and travel cost. plus missed time at my dental office. Meridan, I fly after work friday. I work 4 more hours that week. I assure you it comes out better me working than driving. but 865/ticket is high . Jan and BHM were at 650/ticket for my times. It's not my first time smartass.

We hardly ever go over $700, and more often than not it's it'll end up $550-$600. That's me booking a flightfor Monday the Thursday (orFriday) before.Get on the first flight avaliable in the morning. They're usually half as much. It'll suck getting up at5:00am that morning, but the $1,000you'll save will be worth it.

I don't believe your travel agent (why do you have a travel agent anyway?) can't find cheaper tickets. I assume you're staying in the 48?

two years ago, but if you can't get a ticket in the continental US for under $800 you're doing something wrong.** Hell, I just got a ticket to North Carolina, over Thanksgiving, less than a week in advance, and it was $500. Granted, it was $900 two weeks ago. You just have to watch. Or use the Kayak app. You can pick what type of place, when you want to go, and your max price, and it shows all the flights you can get for that amount, all over the world.

**flying out of Meridian not included

You'll never convince me there is an airport with higher fares and I used to live in Memphis. My issue isn't the fare (yeah they are high) it is more that I can look at 3:00 and they are ~$250 ($1,000 family) at each airline... And then I at 4:15 EVERY airline has magically gone to EXACTLY $402 ($1,608). And these aren't co-share either.

Oh well.. I just canceled $800 worth of hotel nights and we would have easily spent twice that in that city but we're going to do something different now.
